2 The Clyde Waterfront regeneration The regeneration of the Clyde Waterfront from Glasgow Green to the Erskine Bridge is a unique opportunity to transform one of the world s most famous rivers into a world-class waterfront attracting both business and commerce with people and communities at its heart.
3 Vision The vision for Clyde Waterfront can be summarised as: Economy To create a globally attractive location which will add competitive advantage, create jobs and increase output Place To create distinctive, quality places and a vibrant and dynamic waterfront with international appeal People To stimulate the regeneration of nearby communities and widen access to jobs, investment and training Connectivity To achieve high levels of accessibility and connectivity for people and businesses by all transport modes.
4 Who are we? A Strategic Partnership Board (SPB) has been created, charged with driving and coordinating the regeneration made up of: Scottish Executive Scottish Enterprise Glasgow City Council Renfrewshire Council West Dunbartonshire Council Communities Scotland And an Executive Team (Clyde Waterfront) established to support the work of the SPB.
