1 NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY OF MIDLOTHIAN PARK BOARD Monday, August 11, :30 pm Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 551 VTCA Government Code, notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the Midlothian Parks Board will be held on Monday, August 11, 2014, at 6:30 pm in the Administrative Conference Room, at City Hall located at 104 W. 2 Municipal Park Board Minutes Monday, July 14, 2014 MINUTES MIDLOTHIAN MUNICIPAL PARK BOARD MONDAY, JULY 14, 2014 The Municipal Park Board for the City of Midlothian met on Monday, July 14, 2014 at City Hall located at 104 West Avenue E, Midlothian, Texas. The following Board Members were present: Daniel Tompkins Chairman Greg Durston Board Member Pamela Shelley Board Member Patrick Farrell Board Member Angela Stephens Board Member Sandra Martin Board Member The following Staff Members were present: Billy King Parks & Recreation Manager Gina Moore Special Events/Recreation Coordinator Craig Railsback Parks Foreman Kevin Lasher Planning Director MIDLOTHIAN MUNICIPAL PARK BOARD MEETING Call to Order Chairman Daniel Tompkins called the meeting to order at 6:31pm. REGULAR AGENDA Consider and act upon minutes dated: June 9, 2014 Board Member Angela Stephens moved to approve Regular Agenda Item. Motion was seconded by Board Member Patrick Farrell. Action Taken: (6-0) Approved Citizens to be Heard None to be heard. Chairman Daniel Tompkins called the next item on Agenda Presentation of Midlothian DFW s Southern Star Independence Day Parade Award Winners and direct staff accordingly Chairman Daniel Tompkins presented Midlothian Girls Softball Association the Grand Marshal award chosen by Taya Kyle and family; Park Board members awarded and presented Riding Naturally, Cathy Altman, the Best Decorated Award and Esquivel Insurance, Rita Esquivel, the Judge s Award Consider and discuss proposed Comprehensive Park System Survey with Raymond Turco & Associates and act upon or direct staff as necessary Raymond Turco presented Power Point presentation and welcomed questions.
