1 Notice of Road Closures and Parking Restrictis Sunday 24th September 2017 To the residents and businesses of East Lothian Please find enclosed in this booklet details of all road closures and parking restrictis in your area Sunday 24th September Please note that following discussis between the Event Organiser, East Lothian Council, local businesses and the community councils, this event will now take place a Sunday and not Saturday as it has in previous years. The event organisers in associati with East Lothian Council have striven to minimise the disruptive impact of the event to allow those directly affected to carry with their daily routine with as little incvenience as possible. Please take note of the informati provided and do not park within these areas during the times stated. Every effort will be made to keep traffic flowing as freely and smoothly as possible. Please note Emergency Service vehicles will not be affected by any of the restrictis. Linkfield Road is open to traffic heading Eastbound to Haddingt Road and Pinkie Road. Access out of Hope Place to Haddingt Road and Pinkie Road to be maintained until 08:45am Between 08:45am 2:30pm, access out of Hope Place is via the Musselburgh Racecourse access road. The Electric Bridge in Musselburgh will be open to traffic throughout the day. 8

Vehicle access to the Golf Club will be maintained for as lg as possible although this will not be possible between 11am - 12:30pm when runners are course. Exit Points Running Route Exit Points out of Lgniddry to open roads that are completely clear of runners. Potential exit points out of Lgniddry to avoid the Scottish Half Marath route: 1. Lyars Road * Vehicles exiting Lgniddry via Lyars Road between 08:00 and 15:00 must turn right and drive up Lyars Road in the directi of Lgniddry train stati as Lyars Road will be closed northbound and there will be no access to the B1348 coast road. 2. John Knox Road 3. Elcho Road 4. Cunningham Court *Vehicles exiting Lgniddry via Cunningham Court between 10:45 and 12:30 should turn left into the eastbound carriageway as A198 westbound lane will be closed from Dean Road juncti. Roads closed and used for course: Dean Road, Kings Avenue, Kings Road Gosford Road. Movement of vehicles these roads will be maintained for as lg as possible but absolutely no vehicle movement will be permitted between 11am - 12:30pm when runners are course. 9
