Edinburgh Waterfront The sites are situated within Edinburgh's Waterfront at Western Harbour and Granton Harbour. Western Harbour and Granton Harbour are situated in the north of Edinburgh, with a waterfront setting on the Firth of Forth. They were historically industrial areas and now form part of the Edinburgh Waterfront regeneration scheme. Regeneration is in a more advanced stage at Western Harbour, due to the higher number of completed developments, and has a larger range of established facilities, such as the well regarded Ocean Terminal shopping centre. Although Granton Harbour is at an earlier stage in the regeneration process but the subject site offers a great position within the proposed Masterplan.
