2 In This Issue: Helen and I just spent four days in Orlando and surrounding area, and we are all in for a great time. I will be bringing my magic wand to keep everyone locked inside for the classes, etc. as there are many distractions to lure you away, but the Conference Team is working hard to keep you focused on all the exciting things we are planning for you. On the following pages are all the details about the resort, rates, booking info, amenities and the surrounding area. The Hotel Has many amenities which are available for us to enjoy: (Time permitting of course) The Hotel is in a great location, lots of restaurants and entertainment only a short walk away from the Hotel. From the front entrance turn right, and a short walk down the sidewalk you will see this pedestrian walkway that takes you to Walt Disney Springs where you will find everything from food, theaters, boat rides, etc. Room Amenities: In each room, and in the lobby you will have complimentary Wi-Fi (there will be no Wi-Fi in the meeting rooms. Food and Pharmacy, McDonalds, Burger King, The knife, Buffalo Wild Wings, Fridays and Sweet Tomato. Booking Information Why do we need you to book your rooms ASAP? The conference committee has opened the reservation link. Early registration will help us greatly in our planning. Part of our contract is a complicated formula which takes into consideration the number of rooms we book and fill, the amount we spend on catering. If we don t reach these two amounts, the association will be charged for the balance. We have reserved a minimum number of rooms (to be safe, but that doesn t cover the numbers we usually have come to the Conference) to be cautious. The sooner we get an idea how many rooms we have booked we will be able to breathe easier. And give a more accurate cost to our membership. We also are negotiating with Disney for discount tickets for both the parks and golfing. To receive

4 the conference discount, you must be a registered guest at the Conference Hotel. As part of the negotiated Hotel contract no Resort Fee will be charged. This is a huge saving for all attendees. Room Rates Lakeview Tower Double $ plus taxes 12.5% Lakeview Tower King $ plus taxes 12.5% Members need to log in to receive the URL link for membership discounts. Non-members will receive the link in July when registration opens for non-members. Individuals will be required to guarantee their reservations for late arrival. Cancellation of individual reservations made within 72 hours will be charged one night s room plus all tax. If you wait to make your reservation after the closing date, you will be charged at the regular room rate and only if space is available. Dining Don t be late back to class, or something might just happen to you! Lakeview Restaurant Breakfast: 7:30 10:30 am. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday a Disney Character Breakfast Buffet $19.00 is offered. Dinner: 5-10 pm. The menus can be viewed using the above link. Mobility & Scooter Rentals If you are in need of personal assistance to get around there are many companies to choose all offering different price ranges, and types of equipment here are only three that I noticed at the Disney Springs location. I talked to gentlemen in a scooter, and he said so far he had no trouble with the local buses, Disney rides, walkways or hotel rooms to get his scooter in or out or off and on. 7 Disney Ticket Microsite: Members please log in to receive your URL link to Disney Ticket Savings! For non-member to receive this Disney Ticket Microsite URL you need to register for the conference in July or become a member. The ticket prices listed on our collateral and ticket store reflect the applicable discounts and include tax. Since these tickets are not available for purchase at our Theme Park Ticket Windows, all attendees will need to advance purchase them through your custom website. All of our Meeting & Convention tickets include FastPasses (details are listed on your Microsite) which can be secured by all attendees up to 30 days prior to their theme park visit date. The prices listed can change without warning. The Disney rep said that prices will probably change in the spring and probably by 10% so if you are sure about ticket you can purchase them early.
