1 THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF BRAMPTON BY-LAW Number lo_8_-_8_6 To amend By-law (Rowntree Drain) WHEREAS the council of The Corporation of the City of Brarnpton passed By-law on 13 August 1984, authorizing the construction of certain drainage works on Lots 11, 12 and 13, 4, West of Hurontario Street, in the geographic Township of Chinguacousy, to be known as the Rowntree Drain~ AND WHEREAS the council of The Corporation of the City of Brampton amended By-law by passing By-law on 9 September 1985, to extend the Rowntree Drain~ AND WHEREAS the Rowntree Drain project was constructed in accordance with the provisions of the Drainage Act (R.S.C. 1980, c. 126, as amended)~ AND WHEREAS By-law , as amended, provided for a total estimated cost of $61, for the construction of the Rowntree Drain~ AND WHEREAS the actual cost to construct the Rowntree Drain was $58,228.09i

2 - 2 - AND WHEREAS CN Rail and Transcanada Pipelines are chargeable a special of $3,499.15; AND WHEREAS the remainder of the construction cost, being $54,728.94, is assessable, on a pro rata basis, against the lands and roads set out in Schedules A and B to By-law , using a prorating factor of 111.2%; NOW THEREFORE the council of The Corporation of the City of Brampton ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. By-law , as amended by By-law 20~-85, is hereby further amended, by deleting -- therefrom Schedules A and B thereto, and substituting therefor Schedules A and B to this by-law.- READ A FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD TIME AND PASSED IN OPEN COUNCIL THIS 26th DAY OF May, J~ Kenneth G.
