3 Farma Valley Facts 120 Km^2 mostly woodland. Less than 500 residents (of which 90% in three villages) in 3 Km^2, and five plumbers Until 1974, one of the main transit points from Siena to Grosseto Hosts one of the two kaolin quarries in Italy Hosts three natural conservation areas Not far from very famous tourist attractors (Siena, Montalcino, Petriolo Springs), but in fact ignored by mainstream tourism About sixty residents are players of an ancient hand ball game The valley is in one of the three areas in Italy with the least light pollution Part of the movie Tragica Notte was shot in Torniella in 1942 Most of the people in Piloni have Bartalucci as a surname
