The next meeting will be on October 8, 215. [Picture] This tempered glass installation has been painted with vitreous ceramic enamels on 79 foot long glass panels. This collage of images features a portrait of Moss Lee Love in the center of the composition. The glass panels also include the Mockingbird, the Texas State Bird; a historic map of downtown Dallas; a world map with global flight routes; and poetry that flows throughout the art. 2 DALLAS LOVE FIELD COMMUNITY WEEKLY UPDATE July 11 July 17, Construction Updates Runway Closures Important Notice *In late July, early August, theree will be a closure of Taxiway B for a week inhibiting some aircraft operations to use the preferential runway during nighttime hours. You may encounter a higher than normal noise impact during this time. The official dates for the closure are still to be determined, expect further information as it becomes available.* Scheduled Runway and Taxiway Closures All closures will be coordinated through Airport Operations and will bee permitted based on weather and operational impact. Thurs/July 9th at 2 Fri/July 1th at 5 Taxiway B will bee closed between B5 and Runway 18/6 for Airfield Maintenance Fri/July 1th at 6 Sat/July 11h at 19: Runway 1L/1R closed for FAAA Tech Ops work on the RWY 1R MALSR and Airfield Maintenance conducting rubber removal Fri/July 1th at 6 Sat/July 11h at 19: Taxiway B closed from the Reeves Ramp to the approach end of RWY 1L for Airfield Maintenance painting. Sun/July 12th from 6 12: Runway 1L/1R closed for FAAA Tech Ops work on the RWY 1R MALSR. Sun/Jul12th at 2 Mon/Jul 1th at 5: Runway 1R/1L closed for Airfield Maintenance painting markings and mowing. Mon/Jul1th at 2 Tue/Jul 1th at 5: Taxiway B closed between Runway 18/6 and the approach end of Runway 1L/1R to paint taxiway markings. Wed/Jul15th at 2 Thurs/Jul 16th at 5: Runway 1L/1RR closed for Airfield Maintenance painting markings and crack sealing. Thurs/Jul16th at 2 Fri/Jul 17th at 5: Taxiway C closed between Jet Aviation FBO south entrance and the approach end of Runway 1L to paint taxiway markings. Ongoing Airfield Closures The following taxiways will remain closed until further notice: Taxiway D closed between Taxiway C and D1. Taxiway D1, ongoing daily closures, weather permitting, from 7 17 ass required for work on the shoulder. Taxiway D will be available at Taxiway D1 intersection. Taxiway B closed between Taxiway B1 and Taxiway S for MCMM pavement work. Taxilane P closed for RON C/Taxilane P realignment * Please see the airport diagram on the next page for locations of runways and taxiways.
