4 BERKOVSKI BALKAN TOURIST AND SPORTS CENTER Location: Berkovitsa Brief description: Construction of a tourist and sports centre Size of investment: 56, 250, 000 Status: Preliminary project; private property The project envisages construction of six lifts. Two lifts will connect the highest points - medium and small com. Chair lift will connect the two surrounding ski slopes. Another lift will connect the village Barzia with the peak Shtarkovitsa. The last two lines will be used if bad weather conditions prevent the use of the first two. A connection with the city of Berkovitsa is envisaged through the construction of two lifts. This will allow the expansion of the tourist sector in the city. The main lifts will have open three-and four-seat chairlifts, with the exception of one cabin lift. 5 SEUTHOPOLIS MUSEUM- TOURIST COMPLEX Location: Dam "Koprinka, Kazanlak Brief description: Exposure of the ancient Thracian city of Seuthopolis Size of investment: million Status: Preliminary project Valley of the Kings cannot be presented fully without Seuthopolis being exposed - its capital, the only one discovered and preserved in Thracian city of such a size Showing the original city to the world, through a unique solution: a museum-tourist complex combining antiquity, a wide range of recreational, cultural and sporting functions, natural environment and economic efficiency Possibility to include Seuthopolis in the list of world heritage by UNESCO. 6 THE KAZANLAK TOMBS MUSEUM- TOURIST COMPLEX Location: Kazanlak Brief description: Construction of a tourist and information center for tombs discovered in the Valley of Kings near Kazanlak Size of investment: 1 million Status: Preliminary project The tomb Golyamata Kosmatka" is in excellent condition. A tourist center and infrastructure needs to be built to service the tomb, including a park recreation area, waste collection equipment, and other facilities serving the tourist attractions and visitors. Chief Arch. Nikolay Nikolov Tel Tomb "Kosmatka" is a cultural monument of national importance. It is the first Thracian tomb associated with the name of the Thracian ruler Seuthes III. There are unique items required by the Thracians in the afterlife. It was discovered in 2004 by a team of Dr Georgi Kitov and Iskra Museum. 5

7 AMPHITHEATER IN THRACIAN TOMB CONSTRUCTION PROJECT Location: Park "Tulbeto" Kazanlak Brief description: Construction of an amphitheater in the Thracian Tomb of Kazanlak Size of investment: 1 million Status: Preliminary design Kazanlak Thracian tomb was opened on April 19, It is the first Bulgarian monument included in the list of World Heritage of UNESCO (1979). The murals are unique - they give an idea of Thracian burial and their faith in the afterlife. Very close by is a copy of a Thracian tomb. To introduce new techniques and programs for interpretation and animation of the Thracian heritage is necessary to build an open amphitheater with equipment and infrastructure - picnic areas, recreational facilities and sportsprofit, parking, landscaping, toilets, lighting, small equipment waste collection, utilities, facilities serving the tourist attraction and visitors. 8 MODERN ART MUSEUM MUSEUM IN KAZANLAK Location: Kazanlak Brief description: Construction of a modern art museum Size of investment: 2,5 million Status: Preliminary project In addition to the rich oil rose, Kazanlak Thracian heritage is famous as a city of artists, many of which mark the highest peaks of Bulgarian art. Some of them are Chudomir, Ivan Milev Dechko Uzunov, Nenko Balkan. From there comes the idea to build a Museum of Modern Art near the Art School "Dechko Uzunov". 9 KALETO ARCHEOLOGICAL AND TOURIST CENTER Location: Mezdra Brief description: Modernization of the fortress "Kale" Infrastructure: There is good infrastructure provision electricity, water supply, and possible gas pipeline from the city network. It is less than a kilometer from the republican road class I / Mezdra-Sofia / train station and the Municipality. The terrain on which the project will be implemented is municipal property. The second stage envisages the construction of the Visitor Information Centre, through the reorganization of the 6 studios, guide area with 87 seats, landscaping with parking for 23 cars and layout of the Iskar River bridge and underpass, which to serve as a pedestrian link between the city and the medieval fortress "Kale". 8

10 KALETO ARCHEOLOGICAL AND TOURIST CENTER The third stage involves the construction of tourist center with an area of 1080 m2. It provides multi-purpose room for film screenings, seminars, lectures, exhibitions, etc; a bookshop, a currency exchange bureau and a restaurant with capacity of about 50 seats and service facilities. The second floor will host a computer club, library and hall for children's courses and workshops. The third floor will be an administrative unit and will include small meeting room. 9

11 AQUA CALIDAE ARCHEOLOGICAL AND TOURIST CENTER Location: Bulgaria, city of Burgas, district Vetren Brief description: Aqua Calidae a cottage village supplied with mineral water Investment amount: 4.5 million Status: Under construction. 18 of 42 houses built. Purchase of the site as a whole, the land and the built house included, at the price of 1,750 million and then selfcompletion of the construction works. Entry in a partnership with the current owners and providing the additional investment to finish the construction of the village. Afterwards a sale of the finished village - splitting the profit proportionally. 12 PANAGYURISTE GOLF TREASURE RESORT SPORTS AND TOURIST RESORT Location: Pazardzhik/ Panagurishte Brief description: Pazardzhik/ Panagurishte golf treasure resort Investment amount: negotiable Status: Conceptual Project; looking for cooperation. The design, construction and operation of the golf course with 18 holes and a complete set of golf tourism in an area 1318, 542 ha. The site is located 16 km north of Panagyurishte and 3 km east of the village Panagyurski colonies. The golf course will be located near the hotel and residential buildings located in an area of about 52 acres. The golf course itself will be located on a hill and will provide an opportunity for carrying out international professional tournaments and the activities of amateurs. The building of the golf club will be constructed on a privately owned area located in proximity to the golf course and it will form an integral part of the whole complex. The complex has to be designed and built in such a way that will fit perfectly into the surrounding landscape features of the area and that will convert it into a place for active relaxation in nature. The future complex will offer diverse opportunities for entertainment and a huge choice of outdoor sports like tennis, mountain biking, beach volleyball, and more. The terrain is flat and accessible by asphalt road. There is a thermal spring of mineral water with temperature 50 C flowing at 26 l / sec. Only 0.8% of the spring are currently used. Water is moderately mineralized with a very favorable chemical composition for the treatment of diseases of the musculoskeletal system, osteoarthritis, contractures of muscle and joint origin, all diseases of the peripheral nervous system and others. The location of the village and the fact that water has proven healing qualities ensure year-round use of the resort. The terrain that is offered for development around the dam is 67 dca. The owner is looking for an investor to take a share in the development of a mineral water plant or tourist facilities. The dam is a commercial discovery. Located in an area that is certified by UNESCO, 7th place in the world in oxygen content (updated 13 times on oxygen per 24 hours). 16 DOLNO YABALKOVO TOURIST COMPLEX Location: Dolno Yabalkovo complex, Sredets municipality, Burgas region Brief description: Complex of 10, 000 m 2 Size of investment: 150,000 EUR The complex is located on the west slopes of Strandzha Mountain, 25 kilometers from the Town of Sredets, 65 kilometers to the south of the City of Burgas, and 25 kilometers to the west of the renowned Bulgarian Southern Seaside. The climate in the area is Mediterranean, the surrounding environment boasts clean and picturesque nature. There are electric power lines in close proximity which can power the complex with any amount of energy required. The rivers and underground streams in the region have high level and flow. The complex is ready to be built since the procedure for the change of use of the land is completed and a construction permission has been issued. 17 DEBELT VILLAGE PROJECT Location: Burgas municipality Brief description: The village of Debelt is located 15 from the Black Sea shoreline. Prehistoric excavations are dug in the village. The plot does not go into forbidden construction area as other plots in the area do. Debelt is located in the southeastern part of Bulgaria, in a land with hills and planes. 25 km away lays the city of Bourgas the second largest city on the Bulgarian Black Sea cost.
