6 ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF AGING SENIOR CENTER TRIP RULES All trips are open to Senior Center members. Current key tags must be shown when registering for a trip. Participants must be self-sufficient to go on trips. Senior Center Director may require physician s certification to approve travel. Anyone who exhibits inappropriate behavior must be approved by the Senior Center Director before traveling. Registration will commence upon receipt of the required deposit. Checks are preferred. Seat assignments will be the responsibility of the Trip Leader. All monies are non-refundable unless a replacement can be found from the waiting list. Participants must furnish their own transportation to and from meeting points. Absolutely no smoking or alcoholic beverages on the buses. Trip participants will sign a Release of Liability Form. Trip participants will be given the cell phone number of the Trip Leader. Buses will not wait for anyone. Participants must adhere to scheduled arrival and departure times. Should you become disconnected from the group while on a rip, use the cell number that was given to you to contact the trip leader. Participants should: Avoid contaminating others on trip day by staying at the home when suffering from communicable illnesses (e.g., flu, colds, etc.). Avoid causing allergic or other adverse reactions by not using strong or excessive fragrances. Be flexible. Under special circumstances be prepared to accommodate room and seatmates as assigned. 6

7 TRIP ETIQUETTE The front seats are normally reserved for your Trip Leaders. They need to be able to easily communicate with the driver. Day Trip participants are required to park in the Lake Shore Shopping Plaza main parking lot (in from of Two Rivers Restaurant entrance.) REMINDER: It is your responsibility to remember that you have signed up for a trip and to show up at a reasonable time for departure. It is not the Trip Committee volunteer.
