An allowance of 2.75 will be available to you for each timetabled day you are in college and can be spent in the college refectories on food and drink. You must be enrolled on a full-time course at Havant & South Downs College, be aged before the 31 st August 2018 and you must be in receipt of Income Support/Universal Credit in your own name (please provide a letter dated on or after 1 st April 2018 from the Benefits Agency stating you receive this benefit). 2 SECTION 3: South Downs Campus Bus Pass Application (Havant Campus Students - please see the next page) If you require a College bus pass which will enable you to travel to and from the South Downs Campus on either First Group or Stagecoach buses please complete the section below: - 1) POST CODE - Using the grid below please locate your postcode in the left hand column 2) PASSES AVAILABLE - The passes that are relevant to your area are listed. 3) ANNUAL PASSES - This pass will enable you to travel from home to the South Downs Campus; these passes are annual (3 rd Sep 5 th Jul) and can be used at weekends, half terms, Christmas and Easter Holidays. Please tick only one of the bus pass options for your postcode POSTCODE PASSES AVAILABLE ANNUAL PO1 PO6 If you live in Drayton or Farlington see box below PO6 1 & PO6 2 & Isle of Wight PO6 1 & PO6 2 have the option of choosing a First Group (board at Cosham) or Stagecoach (board Havant Road and change at Havant Bus Station). Isle of Wight students can choose either First Group 7 Day or a bus pass. 3 SECTION 4: Havant Campus Bus Pass Application If you require a College bus pass which will enable you to travel to and from the Havant Campus on either First Group or Stagecoach buses please complete the section below: - 1) POST CODE - Using the grid below please locate your postcode in the left hand column 2) PASSES AVAILABLE - The passes that are relevant to your area are listed. 3) ANNUAL PASSES - This pass will enable you to travel from home to the Havant Campus; these passes are annual (3 rd Sep 5 th Jul) and can be used at weekends, half terms, Christmas and Easter Holidays. Please tick only one of the bus pass options for your postcode POSTCODE BUS PASSES AVAILABLE ANNUAL PO1 PO6 PO1 PO6 * postcode area are extremely limited (the only option is to connect to the SD5 at the South Downs Campus at 8.35am to arrive at Havant Campus for 08.50). You therefore may wish to choose a Stagecoach South Hants bus pass as per the box above. PO7 PO8 If you live in Hambledon or Denmead you will need to select a First Group bus pass and use the 654-bus service which travels direct to the Havant Campus (one service in the morning & one in the afternoon) ** All other areas of PO7 PO8 should choose the Stagecoach bus pass ** First Group Zone 4 (Waterlooville area) 260 Stagecoach Havant 278 PO9 PO10 7 PO10 8 & PO10 9 PO11 PO12 - PO17 * postcode area are extremely limited (Gosport/Fareham students can board the SD5-bus service which travels direct to the Havant Campus & Bishops Waltham/Wickham students can board the SD4-bus service & change to the SD5 at the South Downs Campus). PO18 - PO22 & GU SO30, SO31, SO32 & SO40 postcode area are extremely limited, you may wish to travel by train. The cost of your bus pass will be deducted from your 1,200 bursary entitlement.

4 SECTION 5: Train Application - If you require a Train pass which will enable you to travel to and from the Havant Campus please complete the section below:- Please be aware that train services are not run under contract to the College and are therefore subject to availability. You will need to make your own arrangements for travel between your home and the nearest station to you. South Western Railway are offering full-time HSDC students discounted railway passes. These passes are valid between the named stations, 7 days a week and within the dates specified on the ticket. Please remember to bring a passport sized photo when collecting the rail pass as this will need to go on the Student photocard. 5 SECTION 6: Student Agreement I confirm that I live at the address stated in Section 1 and I am aware of the areas and days I can use my train or bus pass (see below). I understand that it is my sole responsibility to collect my travel pass from Student Finance and Travel and that I must produce my Student I.D. card (which will be provided on enrolment day for first year students) for my pass to be released. To collect my train pass I will also bring in a passport sized photo. I agree to Havant & South Downs College processing personal data contained in this form for administering Financial Assistance. I understand that any bank details (sort code & account number) requested in the future by the Student Finance & Travel Department will only be used for processing weekly payments/refunds and the college will adhere to relevant data protection policies & procedures.
