An LAFD RA unit was requested and Unit #15 responded. The RA Unit examined the staff member then transported her to California Hospital for medical treatment.

3 Reported: 9/13/13 3:27 pm Location: DEL TACO Report #: Occurred: 9/13/13 3:00 pm to 9/13/13 3:30 pm TRAFFIC Traffic Collision With Injuries DPS officers responded to a traffic collision involving two vehicles, one of which was driven by a student. A second student who was a passenger in the first student's vehicle sustained abrasions to her shoulder and face and she was being treated by LAFD RA Unit #15 when the officers arrived. The student was then released at the scene. LAPD officers were requested and responded to conduct a traffic investigation. Reported: 9/13/13 3:11 pm Location: 29TH ST & HOOVER ST Report #: Occurred: 9/13/13 3:11 pm to 9/13/13 4:37 pm VEHICLE CODE Driving Without Consent DPS officers responded to a report of a suspect driving a vehicle near the location that was identified as stolen by the license plate recognition system. The officers detained the suspect and a passenger when the suspect pulled into a parking lot and during questioning they both admitted that they had stolen the vehicle. The suspects were then arrested and transported to 77th station for booking. 5 Reported: 9/13/13 5:38 pm Location: JOHN STAUFFER PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCES CENTER Report #: Occurred: 9/13/13 4:00 pm to 1/1/00 12:00 am HARASSMENT Harassment A student reported that she has been the subject of ongoing harassment by another student and when she asked him to stop contacting her he made statements that caused her to believe he may attempt to harm himself. Reported: 9/13/13 11:33 pm Location: PHI KAPPA PSI Report #: Occurred: 9/13/13 11:33 pm to 9/13/13 11:33 pm ALCOHOL Drunk In Public DPS officers responded to an intoxicated student who passed out in the back seat of a taxi. The student was unresponsive when contacted by the officers, so an LAFD RA unit was requested. The student regained consciousness when RA Unit #15 responded to examine him and he was released into the care of his friends after declining transportation for medical treatment. Reported: 9/14/13 2:06 am Location: SCHOOL OF CINEMATIC ARTS Report #: Occurred: 9/14/13 2:06 am to 9/14/13 2:06 am Hold Over THEFTPETTY Plain DPS officers on routine patrol observed a suspect exiting the construction site adjacent to the location and detained him for investigation. The officers found the suspect in possession of several rolls of toilet paper and paper towels and during questioning he stated that he stated that he worked as a janitor in a nearby building. The suspect's supervisor was subsequently advised of the incident and the property was turned over to him. The suspect was then released. cc: Human Resources

An LAFD RA unit was requested and Unit #15 responded. The RA Unit examined the student, then he was released to the officers and they transported him to Good Samaritan Hospital for medical treatment. Reported: 9/14/13 1:00 am Location: WEBB TOWER Report #: Occurred: 9/14/13 1:00 am to 9/14/13 2:42 am FIRE Residential DPS officers and LAFD Units #15, 26 and 215 responded to fire alarm activations on several floors due to smoke from a fire in a trash chute. Fire Safety personnel were requested and responded to examine the male. The male was then released to a family member who transported him to an unspecified hospital for medical treatment. The officers treated the male then released him at the scene.

The student was unresponsive when contacted by the officers, so an LAFD RA unit was requested. RA Unit #15 responded and examined the student, then transported her to California Hospital for medical treatment. An LAFD RA unit was requested and Unit #246 responded. The RA Unit examined the student then transported him to California Hospital for medical treatment. An LAFD RA unit was requested and Unit #246 responded. The RA Unit examined the student then transported her to California Hospital for medical treatment.

The female declined when the officers offered to request an LAFD RA unit to provide medical treatment and she was subsequently released to seek it on her own. Reported: 9/14/13 5:04 pm Location: 27TH ST & FLOWER ST Report #: Occurred: 9/14/13 9:00 am to 9/14/13 5:00 pm BURGLARYMOTOR VEHICLE Motor Vehicle A suspect smashed the front passenger side window to gain entry, and removed a computer bag and a pair of headphones. Reported: 9/14/13 2:13 pm Location: VON KLEINSMID CENTER FOR INTERNATIONAL & PUBLIC AF Report #: Occurred: 9/14/13 4:13 pm to 9/14/13 5:45 pm Medical Escort DPS officers responded to a student who reported that she was suffering from depression. The officers placed the student in contacted with a counselor at the Student Counseling Center and after concluding the conversation the student requested transportation to a mental health facility because she feared she may attempt to harm herself. The officers then transported the student to Keck Hospital and released her into the care of staff on the premises.

12 Reported: 9/14/13 4:48 pm Location: TROJAN PLAZA Report #: Occurred: 9/14/13 4:00 pm to 9/14/13 5:10 pm ROBBERY Strong ArmAttempt A suspect followed a student as she entered her apartment at the location and grabbed hold of her laptop computer. A struggle ensued and the student was able to wrest the computer from the suspect's grasp. The student yelled for help when the suspect again attempted to take the computer and he fled on foot when a witness exited an apartment across the courtyard. The student did not report the incident at the time it occurred, so DPS officers were unable to conduct a search for the suspect. Reported: 9/14/13 5:16 pm Location: UNIVERSITY RESIDENCE HALL Report #: Occurred: 1/1/00 12:00 am to 1/1/00 12:00 am ALCOHOL Alcohol/Drug Overdose DPS officers responded to an intoxicated student who was reported to be unable to care for himself. The student had been vomiting and was incoherent when contacted by the officers, so an LAFD RA unit was requested. RA Unit #15 responded and examined the student, then transported him to California Hospital for medical treatment. Reported: 9/14/13 6:09 pm Location: HEBREW UNION COLLEGE Report #: Occurred: 1/1/00 12:00 am to 1/1/00 12:00 am DPS officers responded to a student who sustained a cut next to his eye when he fell while riding his bicycle near the location. An LAFD RA unit was requested and Unit #15 responded. The RA Unit examined the student, then he was released to the officers and they transported him to California Hospital for medical treatment.

Reported: 9/14/13 11:16 pm Location: 2803 MENLO AV Report #: Occurred: 9/14/13 11:15 pm to 1/1/00 12:00 am DISTURBANCE Disturbing The Peace A student was cited to Judicial Affairs for uncooperative and belligerent behavior with DPS and LAPD officers who responded to multiple complaints about noise from a party he was hosting at the location.

14 Reported: 9/15/13 12:44 am Location: ADAMS BL & MAGNOLIA ST Report #: Occurred: 9/15/13 12:40 am to 9/15/13 1:00 am ALCOHOL Alcohol/Drug Overdose DPS officers responded to LAPD officers who were detaining an intoxicated student who was found wandering alone near the location. The officers found the student to be incoherent, so an LAFD RA unit was requested. RA Unit #15 responded and examined the student, then transported her to California Hospital for medical treatment. Reported: 9/15/13 1:09 am Location: PARKSIDE RESIDENTIAL BUILDING Report #: Occurred: 9/15/13 12:45 am to 9/15/13 1:00 am Illness Response DPS officers responded to a student who suffered a seizure. An LAFD RA unit was requested and Unit #15 responded. The RA Unit examined the student and offered transportation for medical treatment, but he declined and was subsequently released at the scene. The student was conscious and coherent when contacted by the officers and they concluded that she did not require medical treatment. The student was then released into the care of her roommate.
