2 GENERAL MANAGER MESSAGE October has always been one of my favorite months. Cool weather at the beginning and candy at the end! Although my candy days are behind me, WyomingPBS still has some cool and sweet things for you. Two of our local series, Wyoming Chronicle and Farm to Fork Wyoming, start new seasons with cool stories and interviews. We begin the fall Farm to Fork series Monday nights at 9pm beginning October 10th with encore presentations of some of our most popular episodes, and a new two-part series on composting starting October 31st. An all new season of Wyoming Chronicle begins October 7th and features an interesting interview with a young lady who challenged herself to get to know one new person every week over a cup of coffee! With the election nearing, you ll also notice a number of political debates in the schedule, including a debate on October 20th among the candidates running for Wyoming s lone U.S. House seat. The debate will also be streamed live online at wyomingpbs.org and will be archived for future viewing. To satisfy your cultural sweet tooth, the PBS Arts Fall Festival returns Friday nights beginning October 21st with all new programs, including the highly anticipated look into the making of the Broadway phenomenon Hamilton, a contemporary take on the life of Founding Father Alexander Hamilton. And finally, I d like to thank the almost one thousand people who attended our screenings of What Was Ours in Riverton and Lander last month. The turnout at both events was amazing... and prompted the scheduling of a third encore screening event on Saturday, October 1st at 2pm at the Grand Theater in Lander. If you were unable to make it to the September screenings, mark your calendar (and come early)! We anticipate another packed house! As always, thank you for watching and thank you for being part of the WyomingPBS family.
