NIELSON, 29 of Fairbanks, was found to be driving while under the influence. NIELSON was arrested and transported to FCC and charged with DUI. UF /8/ 22:01 Alumni Drive Motorist Assist Officer was waived down by motorist. Vehicle had slid off road. Officer was able to help motorist get vehicle back on road. UF /8/ 22:17 Murie Building Motorist Assist Request for a jump start of vehicle. Officer responded and was able to help get vehicle started and out of parking spot. UF /11/ 12:08 Ag Farm Road Motorist Assist Report of a driver digging vehicle out of snow. Officer responded to assist. Driver issued a citation for IID device violation. Vehicle was impounded for no insurance. UF /11/ 21:16 Duckering Building Suspicious Complainant reports incident that occurred at 21:45 on 1/9/. Complainant believes someone may have been in the building and recording in the shower area with a cell phone. Investigation on going. Facilities notified to change the lock on the door. UF /17/ 0:35 Hess Village Domestic Disturbance Report by neighbor of verbal argument and female crying. Officer responded and made contact. No physical assault. Argument only. Driver cited again for DWLS. UF /17/ 21:17 Fine Arts Theft Complainant reports vehicle was broken into in the lot. Various items missing. Investigation on going. UF /18/ 2:42 Oasis Lounge Agency Assist AST requested assistance with ATM alarm at location. UF /18/ 17:17 Alumni Drive Traffic Hazard Vehicle not running and blocking traffic. Officer stopped snow machine for driving recklessly on the roadway. Parent of driver contacted. Driver given warning and allowed to proceed to school. UF /9/ 22:18 MacLean House Suspicious Officer made contact with vehicle that came from bio dump. Driver and passengers admitted to smoking marijuana. Suspect was removed from the Pub at that time. UAF Police to investigate after being notified of incident. Officer advised individual to report to internet crime center and to cease on line contact for own safety. Lost around noon. Phone may have been used around 14:31 off campus. Officer investigating. UF /27/ 4:19 MACS bus hut on UAF Campus Public Contact Officer made contact with trespassed individual and provided ride off campus. Individual was not aware of existing trespass from campus. UF /28/ 22:03 Wood Center Disturbance Report of female trying to gain access to Pub without showing ID. Officer responded. Female left area. UF /1/ 0:40 College Inn Agency Assist AST requested assistance with a disturbance. UAF Officer responded. Airport PD arrived as well. Male causing disturbance was transported to FMH for Title 47. Follow up and person to stay with arranged. UF /2/ 20:48 Fine Arts Criminal Trespass Officer in contact with intoxicated individuals. One trespassed and taken to detox. UF /2/ 22:00 Fine Arts Criminal Trespass CSO observed male drinking alcohol outside Fine Arts building. Officer arrived. Transported male to FCC for Title 47 and trespassed from UAF.

9 UF /4/ 1:37 UAF Campus Reckless Driving Officer observed reckless driving by museum. Officer initially tried to stop vehicle for failure to dim headlights. Vehicle then sped up and then finally stopped for officer. Female trespassed from all UAF. Charges forwarded to DA. UF /4/ 23:55 Fine Arts Intoxicated Person Two intoxicated individuals spotted by VIPs. Officer made contact. Individuals released to relatives. UF /5/ 2:26 Gradelle Road Agency Assist AST requested assistance with protective custody call. UF /6/ 11:50 Reichardt Building MVA Hit and Run Report that a vehicle was hit in the lot. Subject hit red sedan. Officer made contact with all involved and resolved the issue. Damage did not occur at that time according to owner. Note was left by driver. UF /6/ 12:11 Reichardt Building MVA Complainant reports vehicle was backed into by another vehicle. At first no damage was noticed. Complainant later found damage and will try to contact other driver. Officer advised to take pictures of damage. Sanders, 40 of Anchorage, was arrested for criminal trespass and transported to FCC and charged with Criminal Trespass II. UF /7/ 23:46 University Ave Welfare Check Officer made contact with pedestrian at bus hut for welfare check. UF /9/ 8:36 Chena Small Tracks Agency Assist AST requested assistance with vehicle stop. UF /10/ 0:22 MBS North lot Suicide Attempt RA on duty reports possible suicidal person. Officer responded. Officer located individual with assistance of UFD. Individual transported to FMH. Dean of Students contacted for follow up. UF /10/ 7:03 Tanana Loop Vehicle Check Vehicle blocking roadway creating hazardous condition. Owner contacted. Vehicle towed. UF /10/ 17:00 Wood Center Warrant Arrest Report of suspicious activity near ballroom in Wood Center. Officer responded. Juvenile female remanded to FYF for no bail warrant UF /10/ 14:06 Old U Park Suspicious Faculty member reports inappropriate behaviour. Officer responded and investigated. No criminal activity found.

10 UF /10/ 20:41 Sustainable Village Theft Possible theft of backpack from vehicle reported. Backpack last seen at about 7:20 PM. Backpack reported found at Wood Center on March 13th. UF /11/ 13:13 Gruening Building Harassing Communications Report that swastika was found on board in room. Officer spoke with those who had seen it and checked other classrooms in area. UF /12/ 16:16 Campus Cache Criminal Trespass Report that male took products from shelf when Campus Cache was not open and he was told it was not open. He left money on counter and took two items anyway. Officer located individual. Male was slightly intoxicated. Res Life contacted to follow up. UF /12/ 23:15 Engineering Building Suspicious Person CSO reports male sleeping in building. Officer responded. Male intoxicated. Officer transported him to his dorm, gave him a disorderly conduct warning and notified Res Life staff. UF /13/ 0:24 Thompson Drive Traffic Stop Traffic stop for no headlights. Driver did not have insurance. Vehicle towed. UF /13/ 7:33 University Ave Driving Without a License Traffic stop for moving violation. Driver Wesley C. RADO, 50 of Fairbanks, was issued a summons for Driving without a Valid Operating License. UF /13/ 14:39 Old U Park Intoxicated Person Report of male sleeping in building. Officer responded and made contact. Male transported to rescue mission. UF /14/ 2:34 Holiday Gas Station on College Road Agency Assist AST requested assistance with 8 9 juveniles at the gas station causing disturbance. All were sent away in taxi cabs. RASMUSSEN was arrested and transported to FCC and charged with DUI. UF /25/ 15:29 Steelhead Road Agency Assist AST requesting assistance with male peeking into a house. Found to be son of owner who had locked himself out of house. UF /27/ 12:07 Patty Ice Arena Theft Complainant reports theft of cash. Suspect identified and trespassed from campus.
