Learner repeats. Count the number of states and territories. Ask questions: Which state do you live in? Learner responds: I live in. Where is (Western Australia, NSW etc)? Learner points to the correct state. What is this state/territory? How long have you been in Australia? Have you been to (Queensland, Tasmania etc)? Learner responds: Yes I have. No I haven t. Learner answers Yes or No to the statements about Ping. Then instruct learner to read the sentences again and change the sentences to make them correct. Learner marks Ping s journey on a map.
