4 Who are our visitors travelling with? Visitation by travel party type, three year average 2013/ /16 80% of international visitors travelled alone or as a couple. What age are our visitors? Visitation by age group, three year average 2013/ /16 Interstate visitors tend to be aged 55 years and above, while half of internationals are millennials Tourismnt.com.au Page 4 of 9

6 How do internationals get here? The majority of international visitors who travelled to the Kakadu Arnhem region entered the country through Sydney (38%) and Darwin (20%). Melbourne and Perth accounted for 28% of visitor entries combined, with the remainder spread across the other state capital cities.
