The event of fers a chance to see the latest developments in power electronics components and systems. The conference with its emphasis on high-quality industry-relevant presentations offers the ideal environment to discuss applications and solutions both of today and for the future. It focuses on power converters, future power semiconductor devices as well as renewable energy technologies. The strong link between conference and exhibition guarantees the high quality of the show. This unique combination fosters the fast and easy exchange between industry and science, for which PCIM Asia is famous. 4 No-show policy It is important that as a confirmed speaker, you attend the conference in person to deliver your presentation. Attendees plan their conference visit according to the conference program and will probably have taken time to see you personally and find out more about your results and developments. If as a speaker you are, for any reason, unable to attend the conference, we would urge that a co-author or appropriate colleague from your company/ university present the paper in your place. Please note that speaker changes are only possible in exceptional cases and have to be reported immediately to the organizer in writing. Manuscript Guangzhou Guangya Messe Frankfurt Co Ltd is responsible for the quality of the event and cannot permit confirmed and announced papers not to be presented. If no one is available to present the paper and Guangzhou Guangya Messe Frankfurt Co Ltd has not been notified beforehand, the speaker will not be accepted for any other future PCIM Conferences. 04

5 Manuscript General To be included in the conference proceedings as well as in the IET Inspec database and IEEExplore, please send your manuscript as a processable PDF-file transmit- ted via e- mail to stefanie.huang@china.messefrankfurt.com The proceedings will be published on a USB flash drive and your manuscript will be included exactly as it is submitted. Manuscripts must be handed in by 21 April In order that we can ensure that the proceedings are available the beginning of the conference, your manuscript must reach us by this deadline. Please be aware that manuscripts which are submitted too late will not be published in the proceedings or the IET Inspec database and IEEExplore. If your manuscript is not submitted by this date, you are requested to send a copy of your paper to all participants prior to the conference. Manuscript Furthermore please note that your manuscript will only be published in the proceedings if you have successfully registered as speaker. Instructions If nothing particular has been individually agreed upon with the author, the number of pages is restricted to a maximum of 8 pages. Your manuscript will not be edited or rewritten. With regards to the general outline and graphical style of the proceedings we therefore ask you to use the template for your manuscript, which includes all important writing instructions. The same applies if any company identification is printed automatically throughout the text or if company- /product brochures are used as a "component" in the manuscript. 05

6 Submission of the manuscript Please make sure that you mail or the manuscript before the 21 April 2017 deadline. The earlier we receive your manuscript, the more thoroughly we can review it and be of assistance if anything requires your attention. Manuscript Copyright Agreement Please do not forget to read the Copyright Agreement PDF-file. When you submit your manuscript to Guangzhou Guangya Messe Frankfurt Co Ltd you will be deemed to agree with these conditions. 7 time The lecture session will last approx. 25 minutes including questions and answers. The session will comprise 2 minutes for introducing the speaker by the chairperson, 18 minutes for the presentation, and 5 minutes for questions and answers. Please plan your presentation accordingly. Your power point presentation Mesago PCIM GmbH encourages all speakers to use an electronic form for their presentation. A document with tips and hints how to prepare a presentation is available for download. Manuscript Download tips and hints-document Sometimes delegates are interested in obtaining the power point file (ppt) of certain oral presentations. Please indicate in your paper (see the template) if you would be happy to make your ppt file available to delegates on request. Alternatively you can send the ppt file to stefanie.huang@china.messefrankfurt.com after the conference; we will then offer it as a download at language The official language during the entire conference will be English or bilingual. Please prepare your slides and presentation in English or bilingual. Meeting with your session chairman Please arrive at the room where your conference session will be held a short while before your session begins in order that you and your session chairman can be introduced to each other. The session chairman will have already been given your short biography and manuscript and will introduce you to the audience.you are required to be present during the entire session. Technical equipment The organizer will provide a projector, laptop and microphones in each conference room. You may bring your presentation file on a memory stick (USB). The conference room technician will be available to help you install your powerpoint presentation on the local computer. We suggest that you make use of the morning, lunch time or coffee breaks to carry out this task. Please do not disturb a running session. Furthermore, business cards are very important in means of communication. They should be translated into Chinese. It is very important for business associates to exchange business cards. Cards are always offered and received with both hands after the initial greeting. Some communication habits Address Chinese officials as Mister, Miss or Madam - Very few Chinese women use their husband s surname and therefore better avoid addressing them as Mrs. The Chinese surname comes first and
