Conferences, Seminars, TC meetings in 2014 Organisation by NCs: national/international -XIVth International Winter Road Congress, Andorra la Vella, 4-7 February Miguel Salvia was the coordinator of the corresponding panel to Road Management.Argentine representatives presented technical papers. -Seminar on Management of incidents and emergencies on the roads 26th March, 2014, at the headquarters of the Argentinian Road Association, intended for highways emergency services and public sector will discuss the webinar presentation of the International Road Federation (IRF) and presentations of the Office for Control of Highway Concession and National Highways. -On 21 and 22 April 2014 the Argentinian Road Association was visited by a delegation of five officials from the Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) and Esteban Salinas, Director of Programs for Latin America & Caribbean of the International Road Federation (IRF), who came to the country for the experience with the different management systems and highway concessions used locally, with a special interest in contracts C.Re.Ma type (Rehabilitation and Maintenance contracts). The Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) was established by an Act of Parliament; The Uganda National Authority Act, No. 15 of UNRA became operational on 1st July 2008.The mandate of UNRA is to develop and maintain the national roads network, advise Government on general roads policy and contribute to addressing of transport concerns, among others. -Seminar on Public Private Partnership 30th April, 2014, at the headquarters of the Argentinian Road Association. Presentation of the International Road Federation (IRF) and other expert presentations from members of PIARC Technical Committee 1.2 Financing of the Argentina Association of Route, comparing current situation to future measures that could be undertaken to promote public-private participation in the development of transport infrastructure. -As each year, the Argentinian Road Association celebrates day Traffic Safety Performance of a day to promote and encourage the knowledge of this matter and its aspects.this time, the event was held on at the Pan American Hotel and focused on developing a new approach to Road Safety: The Vision Zero. During the conference, experts from public and private bodies were exposed on the importance of this new inclusive vision, where all parts of the system are interrelated and exert influence over others, prioritizing the system adapts to the human, rather than the man who has to adapt to it. June 10th, Buenos Aires - Argentina. -Seminar on Sustainable Transport, 28th May, 2014, at the headquarters of the Argentinian Road Association. to host guests from the public, private and academic sectors. Discussion of the results of the webinar of the International Road Federation (IRF). Presentations and study from national and international experts and members of the PIARC Technical Committees of the Argentina, especially focused on urban passenger transport and climate change

Conferences, Seminars, TC meetings in 2014 Organisation by NCs: national/international -Sustainable Mobility Forum - 14 and May 15, 2014 at the National University of La Matanza.The Engineering Society Argentina along with Argentinean Road Association organized the forum "Sustainable Mobility: Challenge of Metropolitan Growth Are we ready?". The main objective of this meeting was to present the latest news and initiatives on road safety and mobility in the metropolitan area and the work being done from the municipalities in this regard. The special conference table meeting focused on improving urban mobility. Among other speakers were attended by Mr. André Broto, chairman of Technical Committee 2.2 Improved Mobility in Urban Areas Sustainable Mobility of the World Road Association (AIPCR-PIARC) ; and Ms. Haydee Lordi, Technical Secretary PIARC- Argentina and member of the Technical Committees 1.2 Financing of Road System and 1.4 Road Transport System Economics and Social Development of Technical Committee 2.2 Improved Mobility in Urban Areas Sustainable Mobility (AIPCR-PIARC) -Presentation on Tunnel Construction on Highway A86 Duplex West, in Paris, France - May 16 th,2014 at the auditorium of the AAC by Mr. André Broto, chairman of Technical Committee 2.2 Improved Mobility in Urban Areas Sustainable Mobility of the World Road Association (AIPCR-PIARC) Publish in road magazine editión Nº 214 July 2014, Visión Cero -Conference "Towards a Shared Responsibility", 17th June 2014 Paraná, Entre Ríos, Argentina. A one day conference on the issues of road safety at the Hotel Mayorazgo. Organized jointly between the Federal Roads Board (CVF), DPV Entre Rios, Argentina Roads Association, the National Road Safety Agency (ANSV) and the Federal Road Safety Council (CFSV). It included technical presentations and driver education activities for primary and secondary schools. -Seminar on Minimize fraud and corruption, 25th June 2014, at the headquarters of the Argentinian Road Association, to host guests from the public, private and academic sectors. Discussion of the results of the webinar of the International Road Federation (IRF). -Participation in the event The first section of the extension of Av. General Paz from the connection with the Pan American Highway to San Martín.- Avenue June 30th, 2014, Buenos Aires. -First day of the Seminar Series "National Road Infrastructure For Growth" - July 8th, 2014, at the Hotel Panamericano in Buenos Aires with the idea of promoting awareness and push the development, modernization and transformation of the roads in Argentina. This conference focused on the various aspects related to mobility and urban roads

Conferences, Seminars, TC meetings in 2014 Organisation by NCs: national/international - Seminar on "New Specifications for Asphalt Mixtures" - August 13 th, 2014, in the auditorium of the Argentinian Association of Roads. This event was co-organized between the Standing Committee of Argentina Asphalt and Road Association was a day of knowledge and debating "New Specifications for Asphalt Mixtures". - The Argentinian Road Association sponsored the "Regional Conference on Transport and Mobility UCALP 2014" organized by the Faculty of Architecture and Design at the Catholic University of La Plata. 21 and August 22 in La Plata, Buenos Aires. The Workshops aim to address major issues facing the land use planning in relation to transport and mobility in cities. El goal is to open a space for theoretical discussion and update on the management of public and private transport linked to land use planning and environmental sustainability in order to find solutions applicable to public sector policies. - A workshop was carried out work in conjunction with the Webinar International Road Federation (IRF), "Advances in Flexible Pavements." The event counted with the participation of special guests from the public and private sector experts and academics. A meeting with the National Technical Committee 4.2 "Road Pavements" to advance the issues of international Technical Committee 4.2 PIARC was also performed. August 27th, IV Latin American Regional Congress of the IRF, in Lima, Peru - 8 to 10 September Miguel Salvia presented the GIS Argentine Road System and participated in various panels. -Haydee Lordi participated in the review of the PIARC handbook on Intelligent Transport Systems (PIARC Module Review -F3 Finance Contracts), PIARC and ITS America. September Salvia Miguel participated in several chapters of the report on The use of Spanish - Participation in the Advisory Committee of the National Road Safety Agency. - Upgrade of the Road Safety Manual. Submission to the Task Force (Chairman of the "Task Force", Mr. Mike Griffith, representative of USA). Argentina Highway Association will assist in the dissemination of the manual between Latin American countries

For the Technical Committee 4.3 Road Bridges, surveys about the "Estimate of the carrying capacity of the bridges based on damage and deficiencies were distributed through the 3er. District of National Highways of Tucumán (Dirección Nacional de Vialidad of Tucumán), and authorities in charge of the country's bridges. Autres activités en Other activities in 2014 Assemblée générale, réunions avec les membres des CT, rencontres avec d autres organisations nationales General Assembly, meetings with TC members, meetings with other national organisations Argentine Road Association established the first contacts in Washington DC in July 2013 to set up a Cooperation Agreement between the World Road Association (AIPCR - PIARC) and the Transportation Research Board (TRB) to strengthen the links between both Technical Committees, with the participation of the U.S. Government (Federal Highway Administration - Office of Transportation Policy Studies - Department of Transportation s Status of the Nation s Highways, Bridges, and Transit.) Haydee Lordi as member of the TRB is involved with the Committee on Social and Economic Factors of Transportation (ABE20) and the Committee on Transport and Development (ADD10) TRB. She participated in the reviewing of papers, and help in the organization and dissemination of the following Congresses: TRB Annual meeting 2014 "Celebrating Our Heritage, Anticipating Our Future" to be held at the Marriott Wardman Park, Omni Shoreham, and Hilton Washington DC from January 12th to 16th, The program covered all modes of transport, featured over 4,000 presentations, spreaded approximately over 750 sessions and workshops. The conferences and workshops attracted over 7,000 transport engineers, scientists and researchers bringing their expertise to participate in committees, panels and working groups. I-TED 2014 INTERNATIONAL TRANSPORTATION ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT (organized by the Transportation Institute Texas A & M in conjunction with the Transportation Research Commission (TRB) and the Transportation Economic Development (TED), held in Dallas, Texas April 9-11, 2014.She attended the meeting ang give a presentation. TRB Annual Meeting 2015, to be held in January Participation at the IV Ibero-American Congress of Traffic Safety (CISEV), to be held on September 30 to October in Cancun (Mexico) with the motto "Progress of the Decade of Action for Road Safety: Together we can save lives". - Traditional year.dinner celebration of the Day of the Route, to be held on 8th October, Buenos Aires, Argentina. -Pre-XVII Argentine Congress of Roads and Traffic - will be from 3 to 6 November The Argentine Congresses and Pre-Congresses on Road Administration and Traffic are a forum to discuss and exchange experiences for all professionals and technicians who, in one way or another, perform an activity related to the road sector and road transport in general, both in the public or private sector, and in rural or urban areas. On this special occasion, it is worth mentioning that during the Congress the 1.4 Road Transport System Economics and Social DevelopmentTechnical Committee meeting will be held
