Support to First Delegates Nomination des membres des CT Nomination of TC members Austria s new First Delegate Ms. Ursula Zechner was supported during the election process by the Austrian National Committee. PIARC Congresses Congrès mondiale de la route, Mexico 2011 World Road Congress, Mexico City 2011 (évaluation, résultats) City (evaluation, results) As a result of the extensive promotion of PIARC and the World Road Congress in Mexico, it was possible to set up a joint Austrian pavilion in the exhibition of the congress. The National Committee joint this pavilion. Under the supervision of the Austrian National Committee National Reports for all of the four given topics were prepared and published. Following the intensive promotion of the Call for Papers, 30 papers were handed in by Austrian experts. In the end 9 presentations were made during the congress, which is quite a large number. Also 2 papers were presented during the poster session. Also, the Austrian National Committee supported the common pavilion of the World Road Association and its National Committees with staff provided and with presentations. Following the extensive preparation and promotional work for the Congress, a large Austrian delegation was present at the congress. The results of Austria s participation the congress were published in a short report available at the website of the Austrian National Committee.
