12 WESTERN AUSTRALIANS LOVE LIVE MUSIC WESTERN AUSTRALIANS ARE TREMENDOUSLY PROUD OF PERTH ARENA AS IT CONTINUES TO BE RANKED IN THE TOP VENUES THROUGHOUT THE WORLD. In the Pollstar 2015 Year End Chart, the venue ranked 47th in the world for entertainment and music sales. This placed Perth Arena s ticket sales as the second highest in Australia, behind Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne but ahead of the Sydney and Brisbane venues. The Pollstar rankings also only measure music and entertainment ticket sales and do not take into account Perth Arena s impressive sporting event calendar that includes the Perth Wildcats, the Hopman Cup, West Coast Fever, International Ice Hockey and various other domestic and international sporting events. In 2014, Perth Arena was ranked as the world s top venue in its category of 10,000-15,000 capacity by Billboard, the world s longest established music publication, based on total box office gross for concerts. Perth Arena s total box office gross was the highest of all venues in Australia and Asia in 2014 and it ranked 7th in the world for a venue of any capacity. Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band and The Rolling Stones both played more shows at Perth Arena than at any other Australian venue on their 2014 tours, with the two dates of The Rolling Stones ranking at number 22 for Billboard s Top Performances in the world. Fifteen of the world s top 25 tours according to the Billboard rankings for 2014 included Perth Arena. These results strongly highlight how Western Australians love live music at the venue. Since the venue opened, Perth has out-performed in ticket sales in proportion to its population. Live Performance Australia recorded a 44.9% increase in spending on live entertainment in Western Australia from 2012 to 2013, twice the growth of the national average. Not only has Perth Arena added amazing vibrancy to the city, but it has provided a boost to the economy by fans who visit bars, restaurants and shops and who stay overnight in hotels, use limousines, taxis and the Perth public transport system. Increasingly, people from interstate and overseas are visiting Perth for the purposes of seeing a show or sporting event at the arena. Perth Arena was designed to be a world class venue for Western Australia to deliver experiences that would surpass many in the world, and its success is evident in these results

Catering is an additional charge above your suite license fee. It is not compulsory to cater at every event. Menu prices typically range from $50 to $100 per person depending on the event genre.
