1 GLOBAL EXHIBITIONS DAY 2017 A worldwide promotional campaign by UFI The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry June 7th, activities undertaken in Poland on the initiative of Polish Chamber of Exhibition Industry
2 Kick off of the Global Exhibitions Day 2017 campaign in Poland! - during the 8th Winter Convention of PCEI in Ciechocinek, November 23-25, 2016 Already several months before the Date, the logo of GED 2017 was placed on the commemorative T-shirts prepared by PCEI for the participants of the Conference. The participants were more than happy to wear the T-shirts during the Conference and also during the 2nd Winter Run of PCEI.
3 The Global Exhibitions Day campaign was among the exam topics for students of the University of Economics in Poznań Poznań, December 15, students of the Poznań University of Economics (supervised by Prof. Henryk Mruk) once again visited the venue of Poznań International Fair to pass the exam before exhibition industry experts. The issue of Global Exhibitions Day appeared to be one of the exam topics - 2 teams of students were enthusiastically engaged. One of the presentations stressed the role of exhibitions as an instrument of innovativeness.
4 The UFI campaign Global Exhibitions Day 2017 (GED17) at pl - January - June 2017 Global Exhibitions Day 2017 again appeared at as one of the key elements. Current press releases on GED17 activities have been appearing in the News section. The GED17 logo, related photos and GED promotional materials prepared by UFI task force, translated into Polish, were presented in a special GED17 section, with possibility to download.
5 A full-page GED17 ad appeared in the PCEI Report Exhibitions in Poland in 2016 March 2017 A full-page advertisement devoted to GED 2017 was published in the annual PCEI Report Exhibitions in Poland which presents audited statistical data of trade fair and exhibitions organized in Poland in The Report is available at:
6 PCEI did not forget about the Global Exhibition Day 2017 during the Meetings Week Poland 2017 conference Warsaw, March 20-24, 2017 PCEI also promoted a board game Exhibitions Tactics Opportunity by Jacek Kisiała (Extend Vision) who produced international (English) version of the game on the occasion of GED 2017.
7 The annual PCEI General Meeting expressed support for the GED 2017 campaign Poznań, April 20, 2017 It was one more opportunity to summarise all the actions taken on the occasion of GED16 and to set out an action plan for GED2017. The participants of PCEI GM took pictures with the GED17 logo.
8 20 th Anniversary of the CENTREX International Exhibition Statistics Union expressed support for the GED 2017 campaign Prague, May 18-20, 2017 The CENTREX General Meeting and 4. CENTREX Forum, organized in Prague on May 18-20, 2017 on the occasion of 20 th anniversary of the organization, with representatives of Polish Chamber of Exhibition Industry, was partly devoted to GED17. The participants discussed a strong need to promote the role of our industry in the economy and took pictures with GED17.

16 World première of the game Exhibitions Tactics Opportunity on the occassion of Global Exhibitions Day 2017 May 25, 2017 Ged 2017 was the occasion for the global première of the unique board game "Exhibitions Tactics Opportunity" by Jacek Kisiała (Extend Vision, Krakow). The game under the patronage of PCEIwas submitted to the 1st edition of the contest organized by UFI and Exhibition World Global magazine - "Exhibitions Day 2017 Awards
17 Competitions in Poland organized on the occasion of Global Exhibitions Day June 2017 PCEI and some of the Members and Partners organized different competitions on the occasion of Global Exhibitions Day 2017, among others in social media channels, and offered the participants attractive awards. Targi Lublin S.A. offered a VIP card which authorizes for free entry to all events organized by Targi Lublin in 2017.
18 Competitions in Poland organized on the occasion of Global Exhibitions Day June 2017 PCEI and Poznań University of Economics organized a competition in social media (Facebook) for university students. The aim was to increase the total audience. Each of the three winners received the Exhibitions Tactics opportunities board game!
19 EVERYBODY COULD HAVE BECOME FAMOUS! had a perfect idea! Poznań International Fair Poznań International Fair offered the employees and the supporters of the Global Exhibitions Day 2017 (at and in social media) the possibility to publish their photos on the cover of a virtual magazine Global Exhibition News.
