7 PAN-EUROPEAN VDL FOR A SINGLE EUROPEAN SKY... The Data Link Service Implementing Rule deadline is just around the corner. Controller Pilot Data Link Communications (CPDLC) will soon become mandatory across all core European upper airspace, which represents a major challenge for both airlines and ANSPs.
