1 316P3 16 th SEARAST - Ref. 1021P3 4 th APRAST May 2014 COSCAP-SEA Member Administrations and Safety Partners: Dear Sir/Madam: Subject: Record of Discussions of the 16 th South East Asia Regional Aviation Safety Team (SEARAST) 25 April 2014 Manila, Philippines I am pleased to advise that the 16 th Meeting of South East Asia Regional Aviation Safety Team (SEARAST) was attended by representatives from the Civil Aviation Authorities and service providers of the Member Administrations, and international safety partners which included representatives from CASA and the FAA. Attached for your consideration is the Record of Discussions of the 16 th SEARAST Meeting. I have also provided a DRAFT copy of the Implementation Status of APRAST/ SEARAST Recommendations reflecting the changes discussed at the meeting. The list of recommendations has been prioritized into three sections for Priority 1, Priority 2 and No Further Action Required. Please provide comments and updates to me showing your States current implementation status for each recommendation. The 17 th SEARAST Meeting is tentatively scheduled for 19 September 2014, at the ICAO Asia and Pacific Office, Bangkok, Thailand, immediately following the 5 th APRAST Meeting. While I trust that this is satisfactory, please do not hesitate to contact me if you require further information or any other assistance.
