No less thrilling are skiing and snowboarding: whether you are a beginner or an expert, there are few better ways to feel truly alive than by breathing in the fresh air as you make your way down a mountain beneath crisp blue skies. A Snow Yoga Adventure with Soulla offers a unique chance to practice yoga and meditation against a backdrop of life- inspiring, adrenalin- pumping mountain sports. Yoga and skiing together can create a powerful workout of the physical, the mental and the spiritual, against the joyful backdrop of nature at its most beautiful and with a like- minded group of people. This retreat is open to all levels in terms of yoga, skiing and snowboarding, from complete beginners to experts regardless of experience, you will leave feeling relaxed, renewed and inspired in mind, body and spirit. On this day a simple continental breakfast will be provided and the group will have the option to eat out in the local village for dinner. Flights or travel insurance (you will need to ensure that your travel insurance covers winter sports) Ski equipment hire Daily lunch on the slopes One evening meal and a chance to explore the local village Any additional excursions, day trips, extra treats and activities Yoga equipment Retreat Dates Due to the massive success and popularity of the last Soulshine Snow Yoga Adventure, I am super excited to be running three whole fun- packed, yoga- filled retreats in You can choose from the following options to join us: WEEK 1: Sunday 1- Sunday 8 February 2015 WEEK 2: Sunday 1- Sunday 8 March 2015 WEEK 3: Sunday 15- Sunday 22 March 2015 Our Chalet Our yoga retreat will be set in the rural tranquility of a traditional chalet surrounded by woodland, perched on the cliff overlooking the beautiful Tarantaise valley and with 180 degrees of panoramic views. Over 150 years old, the chalet is full of character and charm yet incorporating modern luxuries to ensure the most comfortable and relaxing of stays. The chalet is full of original features, with an open fireplace, classic Baroque stone, exposed beams and views from most of the rooms revealing the stunning vista of Bourg St Maurice. There is even a sauna to ensure maximum unwinding and relaxation after a day on the slopes and your yoga mat!

4 The Rooms The chalet can sleep up to 12 people but I am limiting the retreat to 10 guests to ensure maximum space and comfort during your stay as well as individual attention when practicing yoga. All four of the spacious bedrooms in the chalet carry a rustic look and provide en- suite facilities. I have carefully handpicked this chalet for our yoga retreat experience as it provides the perfect space to unwind and relax away from the hubbub of the world, allowing you to take the time to truly engage with your surroundings and the nature of the Alps. My aim is to provide you with the time and space to totally relax so that you can let go of any worries and stresses and have both a relaxing, restorative and fabulously fun break, whilst being totally spoilt by our dedicated chalet team. Breakfast, Afternoon Tea and Dinner As you would expect on a well- organised Yoga retreat, we will be providing deliciously filling, freshly prepared meals for breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner - all included in the price of your holiday. Each day you will be served a continental breakfast with delicious hot options to stoke your energy for a day on the slopes. On your return from a hard day having a fantastic time on the mountain, home baked afternoon cake and tea will await you. And following our deliciously restorative and relaxing evening yoga session (and perhaps after a cheeky visit to the sauna or massage!), a hearty three- course dinner will be served, complete with selected local wines. We will have one night in the week free from dinner in the chalet, providing us with the perfect opportunity to venture into the nearby town of La Rosière and experience more delicious fare at one of the many local restaurants. Reservations and transfers to La Rosière can be organised by our chalet team. If you have any special dietary requirements please let us know in advance. We will always try to accommodate you.

5 La Rosière Resort La Rosière is a real chocolate box resort with bags of charms. Situated at an altitude of 1850m, heavy snowfall and long- lasting conditions are a familiar sight. With south- facing locations, this also means that it s an especially sunny resort! Whilst La Rosière is one of the quieter and more relaxed resorts, it still provides a wide range of restaurants, bars, shops and south- facing cafes to cater to your every need. If you fancy a night out, there is also the opportunity for some après ski fun at local bars where live music is available throughout the week. The town of Les Eucherts, just a 15 minute walk from La Rosière village, also now boasts and ice rink, bowling alley, spa complex as well as many more shops, bars and restaurants. The ski area of La Rosière and La Thuile: San Bernardino Be it that you are a complete and utter beginner or veteran to the slopes, you should find the run to suit your needs on this retreat. The ski area around Chalet Montperron has a wide range of runs, catering to all levels. We are a mere 12 minute run to the closest lift and our chalet team will provide a private transfer service to ensure the greatest ease in accessing the slopes (and getting home in time for your afternoon cake and tea!). Our chalet is based in the only resort in the Savoyard to offer an international ski area of over 150m pisted runs - you can even ski or snowboard your way over to La Thuile in Italy to continue your mountain adventures. Whatever you are looking for, from relaxed and gentle runs, to off- piste

6 adventures or even heli- skiing, your needs can be met. There really is something for everyone. And don t worry about being left out. On these retreats it is natural that there will be a comfortable divide in the group between levels and we will ensure that we arrange times to come back together for example to meet for lunch. For more information about the ski area, please visit The following guide demonstrates the full range of runs available, no matter what your level: Beginners: Complete beginners will soon make quick progress on the green runs by the Clarines and Lievre Blanc lifts. The wide open blue pistes just above La Rosière are then perfect for finding your feet and getting to grips with the turns, especially under the guidance of the expert local ski school. Intermediates: This international ski area is ideal for intermediates that wish to clock up some mileage. Ski up to the Petit Saint Bérnard Pass and the area around La Belvedere where there are some great blue and red runs. Take the Nouva and San Bernardo runs, a total of 11kms, down to the village of La Thuile for a pasta lunch before returning via the Belvedere chairlift, back to France. Advanced: There are a total of 12 black runs in the international ski area as well as a fully patrolled off piste snowzone for experienced skiers and boarders. On the Italian side it also possible to do heli- skiing (usually January to April) on the Ruitor glacier or the Miravidi for any skier who relishes a challenge. Ski Passes A 6- day ski pass is included in the price of your Yoga in the Snow retreat. This ski pass allows you to ski the whole area of La Rosière aswell as the ski area of La Thuile in Italy. If you are a very experienced skier, you might want to explore the whole region and journey a little further afield to explore all the areas available such as St Foy (20 minutes by car), Les Arcs (20 minutes to the chairlift to take you to the area), Val D Isere or Tignes (30 minutes by car). The options really are endless! If you are interested in exploring a wider range of slopes, we are happy to help you arrange the appropriate pass to upgrade from your included ski pass. Ski Hire If you don t have your own equipment then we will happily organise ski hire in advance of the holiday. All we will need from you is your shoe size, height, weight and ski level and we will pre- book the equipment for you. Our suppliers have a whole range of equipment so you ll be happy with your choice no matter what your level. There will be a session to fit the equipment when you arrive so you ll be all ready to get on the slopes ASAP on the Monday! If you have your own equipment then you re also very welcome to store it in our warm and secure boot storage at the chalet. Just don t forget to add Sports Equipment on to any travel bookings! Guide Price: Ski hire costs range from around per person (dependent on your level of experience and requirements).

7 Ski or Boarding Lessons We recommend using the ski/boarding school Ecole du Ski Francais in La Rosière for your coaching requirements. Our chalet team can help us to organise everything from beginners to improvers to off- piste lessons both on a group and individual basis. You can check their website at school- larosiere.co.uk/ for further information and to work out your requirements for your time in France. Guide Price: you can expect to pay somewhere in the region of 150 for a week of group classes. Snow Guiding For those more experienced skiers or snowboarders, we also offer two orientation days included in your retreat package to get you started and help you find your bearings in the surrounding resorts. Your Yoga Teacher and Host Since discovering yoga on a South American adventure, Soulla has been fascinated by the powerful physiological, psychological and spiritual effects a regular practice can offer. It was the incredible impact that yoga had on her own life that lead her to give up a career in marketing and surrender fully to this beautiful journey. Soulla has over 700- hours of Yoga Alliance teacher training experience, having had the privilege to study with teachers around the world. She has spent the last three years travelling and teaching yoga both in her hometown of London and internationally around the world in Asia, the Americas, Europe and North Africa. Soulla offers both dynamic and flowing and healing and restorative Yin based yoga. Her dynamic flow classes fuse breath and sequences of postures in a powerful practice, developing strength, flexibility and awareness, as well as detoxifying the system. Her Yin and Restorative classes focus on providing a pause

8 in life to create a deeply healing and relaxing space. Her classes always integrate breath work and meditation to explore and quieten the mind. She also offers Yoga techniques to manage the mood and alleviate the symptoms of Anxiety, Depression and Stress. The Yoga (suitable for all levels) Our morning practice to greet the day will be a dynamic Vinyasa Flow class that will warm up all our muscles, awaken our minds and prepare us for a day on the slopes. Our mindful evening practice will provide the perfect opportunity to relax our well- used muscles after a day on the mountain and minimize the morning muscle ache (you know the one I mean!). The evening practice will focus on incorporating healing Yin and Restorative poses and sessions of deeply relaxing Yoga Nidra guided meditation. The retreat will be small, with numbers limited so I can give each and every one of you plenty of personal attention and help to develop your yoga practice on an individual level. 9 Sample Retreat Schedule The following is a guide to our schedule during the 7- night retreat: 7: minute Dynamic Vinyasa Flow class to warm up our bodies and minds and get us raring to go for a fantastically fun- filled day 8:15 Delicious breakfast to stoke our energy for the day ahead on the slopes 8:45 First run to the ski lift for the early birds keen to get on the mountain 9:30 Second run to the ski lift for those running on a slightly more relaxed pace! 9:30-17:00 Fun times on the slopes 17:00 Collection from the ski lift to return to the chalet (earlier collections can also be 17:00-18:30 arranged) Time to relax, unwind, perhaps grab a cheeky massage or sauna and enjoy some homemade cakes and tea 18: minute restorative yoga session to unwind the body and mind 20:00 Time for our wholesome and delicious evening dinner feast in the company of old and new friends YOUR 30 MINUTE MASSAGE SESSION Each guest has a FREE 30- minute massage included in their holiday with options to upgrade their treatment at a discounted price. If one massage isn t enough then you ll have the option of a further 10% discount on all treatments. The perfect antidote to a day on the slopes! Logistics - how to get to our chalet? It is possible to access our chalet by either plane or train: Plane: The transfer airport is Geneva or Chambery. Please arrange your flights to correspond with these transfer times below: o o Arrival transfers: We pick people up between 11.30am 13.30pm from Geneva. From Chambery between and This will schedule us to get back to the chalet around 6pm. Please don t book your flight to arrive after the times stated above otherwise you will have to sort out your own transfer which is very costly to La Rosière. Departure transfers: The transfer times for your return flights are for anytime after 13.30pm from Geneva or after 12.30pm from Chambery on the Sunday as we aim to get you all to the airport at 12pm. Train options: You can also take the more environmentally friendly option and travel from London to Bourg- St- Maurice by train. 10 Next steps how to book STEP ONE Please confirm your interest in booking and any questions you may have by ing me at: STEP TWO STEP THREE STEP FOUR Once I have received your booking request, I will reply by return supplying a PayPal link for you to pay a 30% deposit (or the full balance) to secure your place on the retreat. Once this deposit has been paid, your place will be guaranteed on the retreat. Full payment will be required 7 weeks ahead of the retreat.
