3 2 WELCOME Welcome to Situated in 80 acres of wooded countryside, just outside the historic city of York, our conference centre is the ideal place to get away from your daily routine and focus on your special event.

It s the perfect setting for every type of event, whether it s a major conference, an exhibition, a board meeting, a workshop or a training course. We have a 250 seater auditorium, alongside a suite of flexible meeting rooms. The conference centre is connected to our mezzanine and atrium areas which are ideal for event catering, exhibitions and networking. We can provide tables, table cloths and poster boards for your exhibition stands. We also have plenty of outdoor space which is ideal for BBQ s and drinks receptions, team building and lawn games. Our dedicated conference team will arrange everything to ensure your event runs smoothly and are with you throughout from your initial enquiry through to completion of your event. They will put together a package to suit your needs and budget.

4 Sand Hutton Suite The Sand Hutton Suite can accommodate up to 250 delegates in raked theatre-style seating, providing a clear view from anywhere in the auditorium.

5 4 Sand Hutton Suite The Sand Hutton Suite can accommodate up to 250 delegates in raked theatre-style seating, providing a clear view from anywhere in the auditorium. The room also offers plenty of space in which to build an eye-catching set for your event. The Suite is equipped with an induction loop and has full disabled access. The room opens out onto Lakeside Veranda, with clear views across the lake. The Suite has a built-in stage, lectern, audio-visual equipment, hand-held and lapel microphones and sound system. There is a partition that can easily be closed to create a more intimate space for smaller events.

6 5 Meeting Rooms Claxton and Kirkham meeting rooms can accommodate up to 50 people in theatre-style seating. The rooms can be arranged in a variety of set-ups including: theatre, boardroom, u-shape, classroom and cabaret. The rooms are equipped with furniture, built-in audio-visual equipment, flipcharts, a hand-held microphone and a sound system. The team enjoys working with our clients to create the best mix from our food and beverage menus or designing bespoke options to meet specific briefs including special diets. We use local food and beverage suppliers to provide seasonal produce for our BBQs, cocktails and canapés drinks receptions.

Our on-site catering team offer a full range of services and are happy to meet your special requests and dietary needs. Delegates can also take advantage of our on-site coffee shop, our restaurant serving breakfast and lunch as well as our shop. Our on-site IT team is available to help you set up your event and will be on call throughout. Complimentary WiFi and car parking is offered to all delegates. We also have full disabled access.

11 10 LOCATION A Great Location is set in a great location near Sand Hutton, approximately 7 miles (11km) north-east of York, adjacent to the A64. By Car: We have plenty of secure on-site car parking where cars can be left during the day and overnight for conferences lasting for more than one day. By Rail: York is on the East Coast Mainline and is served by frequent trains to and from London. The journey time is approximately two hours. York is also served by direct rail services from many other cities in the UK. By Taxi: The journey time from York railway station to NAFIC is approximately 30 minutes. By Air: The nearest airport to NAFIC is Leeds Bradford. As well as many direct international flights into Leeds Bradford, there are also internal flights from Aberdeen, Glasgow, Southampton, Bristol, Exeter and Belfast airports. By Bus: The Coastliner bus service stops close to. Please check timetables for more information.
