Situated within a former Victorian school in the heart of Birmingham, it is one of the most impressive buildings in the city and a unique venue for events. With an awardwinning modern conversion, Ikon offers a stunning combination of old and new. Located within easy walking distance of New Street Station, in the prestigious Brindleyplace, Ikon is an ideal setting whatever the occasion. The gallery is surrounded by major businesses, shops, restaurants and hotels. Both galleries are available to hire all day Mondays and from 6pm on all other days. First Floor Gallery Capacity: 150 standing / 90 seated Second Floor Gallery Capacity: 150 standing / 100 seated We found the perfect setting for our Birmingham event at Ikon Gallery. Ideal for workshops, seminars, meetings, presentations and drinks receptions, it has a capacity of up to 40 people, and is available every day 9am 9pm. Ikon Gallery was the ideal setting for our launch event: a cultural centre at the heart of the city, with its own distinctive style and at the same time, both welcoming and highly professional. Greg Leadbetter, Institute of Creative Writing Meeting Room The Meeting Room is a modern boardroom space with an abundance of natural light. Perfect for meetings, interviews and training sessions, with complimentary internet access and a large LCD screen. It accommodates up to 12 people and is available every day, 9am 9pm.
