2 This is a free event run by the industry for the industry as part of the UK-wide Working Well Together (WWT) campaign. MGF (ground support systems supplier) will be providing a best practice demonstration on how to safely and efficiently install trench support. Sheets and walers McPhillips (Wellington) Ltd will be demonstrating the correct use of pipe lifters and the benefits, in terms of reducing not only accidents and incidents on site, but also the time and cost benefits that using this type of equipment can bring to a project. In the avoiding underground services and utility surveying session, delegates will be shown how to carry out a utility survey. You will see traditional CAT & Genny equipment and some state of the art equipment. Delegates will be shown the value of using the signal generator and the associated plug in adapters that significantly increase the chances of detecting buried services. Walers in the ground There is no charge for the event so BOOK NOW as places are limited. Delegates are requested to bring their own PPE including hard hats, safety footwear and high visibility coats/vests. There will be plenty of time for questions and discussion. CAT and GENNY
