2 Three days of live demonstrations, 500 exhibitors and thousands of products for the quarrying, construction and recycling industries. Held in a limestone quarry, Hillhead has become the must-attend event for the industry where over 18,500 visitors from across the world come to meet suppliers and see the latest equipment, products and services on offer. We are delighted to introduce a number of new features and developments for the 2018 show. First, the Registration Pavilion has been extended once again, allowing more companies than ever before to exhibit with us. Alongside this, we are delighted to announce a special appearance from the largest mechanical puppet ever constructed in Britain: The Man Engine. Built to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Cornish Mining World Heritage Site, the spectacular 10m high mechanical figure, which is powered by a Volvo L220 wheel loader, will be in residence for the duration of the 2018 event. Hillhead would not be complete without its live demonstrations and the 2018 show will be no exception. The Quarry Face, Crusher Alley, Recycling and Registration Demonstration Areas will once again showcase a host of plant and equipment, all being put through its paces in a live quarry environment.
