You get the quality supervision you need for your child while he or she experiences the ultimate summer! These weeks are designed to offer you flexibility and convenience and provide your child a variety of opportunities. Here s how it works: FLX: Our Flex Camp Weeks consist of a variety of camps all located at location. We have purposely coordinated these camps so that you may customize an experience that fits your schedule and meets your child s interests. Flex Camp options include traditional day camp, as well as Specialty Camps, including sports, drama, art and science. xtended Care is ICLUDD with the registration of one or more of our Specialty Camps. 4 Preschool Camps Pre-Kamp: age 3-4 yrs. Preschoolers will grow and explore essential social, cognitive and physical skills in a dynamic, stimulating and creative camp experience. Children must be enrolled in the concurrent session of Camp Hay Day to attend these trips. ach week we have planned an exciting local trip on Tuesdays as well as an adventurous Bay Area trip on Thursdays. Summer Kids Club Camp Hay Day age 5-11 yrs. We are gearing up for another fantastic summer of camp, but with a whole new theme! This camp is designed to meet the diverse needs of children as well as parents. This summer you can enroll for one week or all seven weeks full or half days whatever works for your family s schedule! Weekly, you will have the option to send your child swimming, enroll your child in a fun local trip, or a big Bay Area Adventure. Your child will be provided with a safe environment to enrich and challenge themselves through crafts, sports, games, swimming and trips! Staff to child ratio is 1:10. Children must be kindergarten eligible to enroll in this camp. Children eligible for transitional kindergarten can enroll in our Pre-Kamp located on page 4. ACH WK! Friday Fun Days Special vents & Dress-Up Themes CAMP PROVIDS Age Groups Children are divided in up to six different age groups. 5 yrs. 6 yrs. 7 yrs. 8 yrs. 9 yrs yrs. All children are required to wear their Camp Hay Day T-shirt and bring a lunch for every field trip. Children not wearing their Camp T-shirt will be automatically charged for a new shirt to participate in the trip. If children do not have a packed lunch or money to purchase lunch, they may not be able to attend the trip. Trip departure times posted are firm. Children should arrive 30 minutes prior to the listed departure time to ensure they do not miss the bus. Refunds will not be given for missed trips. Children may not be dropped off or picked up from field trip locations. Recreation Fee Assistance is not available for trips. arly Registration is recommended. Our AM Specialty Camps include AM care, 7:30am-9:00am as well as lunch-time care from 12:00-1:00pm. Our PM Specialty Camps include PM care, 4:00pm-6:00pm as well as lunch-time care from 12:00-1:00pm. Late Pick-up and/or arly Drop-off Fee A fee of $1 per minute applies for all late pick-up and/or early drop-offs to camp. The fee is calculated after the first five minutes and will also include those five minutes at $1 per minute. Failure to pay the fee and/or frequent late pick-up or early drop-offs may jeopardize your child s enrollment in our camps. Pick-up I.D. Policy The City of San Mateo adheres to an Identification Policy that requires us to request photo identification of the adult picking up a child or children. The photo identification must match a name you listed on your child s emergency form. Please be patient with us; this process is in place to assure the safety of all children in our program. As we learn your names, we will be able to verify you visually and without requesting I.D., however, if you send someone new to pick up, please remind them to bring their I.D. along for verification.
