1 EXTREME CAMP, AGES MIDDLE SCHOOL Kroc Chef (June 19 th -23 rd ) Each day campers will be given a list of ingredients that their team must create a unique dish out of. Counselors will judge the dish according to its presentation and taste. Cheer (June 19 th -23 rd ) Learn to jump, dance, cheer, stunt, and tumble. Cheer/stunting skills will be based on age and experience level of campers. Parents are invited to watch a final performance routine on Friday Fashion Week (June 26 th -30th) Fashion week is designed for campers to create their own style of clothing. They will learn to take measurements, sew, and actually take their ideas from paper to real life. Camp H2O (June 26 th -30th) This camp is made for those who love the water: pool games, pool relays, water balloons, watermelons, etc! Rockwall and game room times included. Color Wars (July 3 rd -7 th ) Add a splash of color to your summer in this fun art camp! This will not be your average Art Camp!! Explore a variety of art techniques and create multiple projects to take home. Cake Boss (July 10 th -14 th ) Campers will test out different recipes of various cakes and learn about the variety of frosting they could use to make their cake look the best like a boss!\ Amazing Race (July 17 th -21 st ) Travel around the world in this intense and lively camp! Your camper will be organized in teams and will have to race around Kroc International and participate in different challenges throughout the Kroc Center, including: swimming, rock climbing, group games, scavenger hunts, and more! On your mark! Get set! Go! Messy Games (July 24 th -28 th ) The name says it all! Campers should wear old clothes that can get very messy, as well as pack an extra set of clothes for each day and a plastic bag for the messy clothes! Restaurant Week (July 31-Aug 4 th ) Put your skills to the test during this week of camp where you will learn how to run a restaurant from the bottom up. We will divide the campers into teams where they will have to create their own signs, menus, and prepare their own cuisines. Mad Labs (Aug 7 th -11 th ) A new take on our science camp! This camp will include hands-on, activity-based experiments. Each activity will challenge your camper to think critically in a fun and engaging way

2 Culinary Camp (Aug 14 th -18 th ) The perfect camp for the aspiring chef! Each day, campers will be formally trained in classic cooking techniques and modern plating methods. On the final day of camp, this brigade of chefs will thoughtfully prepare a gourmet meal for their family and honored guests. Survivor (Aug 21 st -25th) Your tribe has spoken. Campers will be divided into tribes to compete in challenges throughout the week in order to be the ultimate Survivor. Junior Leader Program, Ages Junior Leader Camp In this two week camp, our Jr. Leaders will spend the first week focusing on leadership skills relevant to supervising children in a day camp setting and tips for leading camp activities. Jr. Leaders will be exposed to real-life challenges and become a cohesive unit through teambuilding and challenge course initiatives. In the second week, Jr. Leaders will put their training skills to the test and will have the opportunity to serve as Junior Counselors as they Job Shadow camp counselors in camp. Due to the limited spots available, applications will be approved at the discretion of the Camp Supervisor. Available sessions: Session 1: July 3 rd -14 th Cost: $175 Session 2: Aug 7 th -18 th Cost: $175

3 ADVENTURE CAMP AGES 7-10 ELEMENTARY Cheer (June 19 th -23rd) Learn to jump, dance, cheer, stunt, and tumble. Cheer/stunting skills will be based on age and experience level of campers. Parents are invited to watch a final performance routine on Friday Kroc Olympics (June 19 th -23rd) Join us for a week where the Kroc center host its 1 st Kroc Olympics, camp style. Each day teams will be faced with events where they will need to rely on their team s wits, strengths and weaknesses, and overall team work to complete the challenges they will be faced with. CSI (June 19 th -23 rd ) Throughout this week of camp, campers will learn how to process a crime scene. They will learn how to collect finger prints, DNA and so much more! And NEW this year, the Oregon State Police will be joining us each morning and leading us through a variety of activities and give us a behind the scenes look at what they do! Project Runway (June 26 th -30th) Designers ready! Scissors up! Fashion Week is about to begin. Put your designing skills to the test preparing for a major fashion event. Compete in design challenges and create outfits for the Kroc Camp Runway Show! Parents are welcome to join us for a fashion show on Friday Survivor (June 26 th -30th) Your tribe has spoken. Campers will be divided into tribes to compete in challenges throughout the week in order to be the ultimate Survivor Mad Science (June 26 th -30th) This camp will introduce your child to the mysteries of science and the world we live in! Mad Science Camp will harness your child s curiosity about science and combine it with high-energy activities to keep campers moving. Kroc Adventures (July 3 rd -7 th & July 17 th -21 st & Aug 21 st -25 th ) This traditional camp explores the unique activities that the Kroc Center has to offer. Your camper will get to experience Activities that include: swimming, rock climbing, traditional sports, arts & crafts, team-building & recess games, video games in the game room and more! Messy Games (July 3 rd -7th) The name says it all! 4 Pirates Cove (July 3 rd -7th) Play hilarious water games, build rafts, play survivor and so much more! Campers will get to spend time in the pool every morning while also participating in other exciting games and activities outside of the pool! Must be able to pass a swim test (Swim one length of pool, unassisted). Cupcake Wars (July 10 th -14 th & August 21 st -25th) Campers will be divided up into teams to compete in the most epic challenge of challenges. Their job is to create the most unique looking cupcake as well as a display board to go along with the theme of that week. Super Soakers (July 10 th -14th) During this camp we put your aim to the test! Join us for a week of super soaker wars where we will practice target shooting, play a few water friendly games, and go head to head with an epic game of campers vs. counselors. Dodgeball (July 10 th -14th) This summer, campers will be given the opportunity to explore the various styles of dodge ball games, while working on skill-specific drills that will focus on agility training and throwing mechanics. Outdoor Camp (July 17 th -21 st & Aug 7 th -11th) Get the best of outdoor camp right here in Salem! Activities include, but not limited to: knot tying, scavenger hunts, tye-dye crafts, and SMORES! Color Wars (July 17 th -21st) Add a splash of color to your summer in this fun art camp! This will not be your average Art Camp!! Explore a variety of art techniques and create multiple projects to take home Amazing Race (July 24 th -28th) Travel around the world in this intense and lively camp! Your camper will be organized in teams and will have to race around Kroc International and participate in different challenges throughout the Kroc Center, including: swimming, rock climbing, group games, scavenger hunts, and more! On your mark! Get set! Go! Top Chef (July 24 th -28th) Each day we will go over an aspect of cooking and by the end of the week your camper will be able to be making meals at home! Swim Camp (July 24 th -28 th & Aug 7 th -11th) This camp gives campers the opportunity to have a swim lesson every morning to grow in their swimming skills while also participating in a fun full week of camp activities! During the swimming lesson, the campers will be taught by certified Swim Instructors and will be divided up by levels of swimming ability.

5 Music Camp (July 24 th -28 th ) Music Camp is a great way for campers to be introduced to music through singing, piano, guitar and other instruments. This is a great course for beginning musicians who want to explore music, or current musicians who would like to try a new instrument. This camp will culminate with a performance in the Kroc Theater at the end of the week! Musical Theater (July 31 st -Aug11th) In this 2 Week camp, your camper will have the opportunity to explore their musical and dramatic talents in a fun, and pressure-free environment! Daily activities include song and stage rehearsal as well as fun acting games to help our campers learn their lines. At the end of the 2 weeks we will conclude with a spectacular musical performance for parents and friends! Ultimate Sports (July 31 st -Aug 4th) Each day focuses on a different sport such as: soccer, basketball, football, volleyball, or baseball. Campers will sharpen basic athletic skills including: passing, ball-control, teamwork, and handeye coordination. Become a more well-rounded athlete and stronger teammate! Kroc Chef (July 31 st -Aug4th) Campers will be put into 3 groups and will have to work together on several challenges throughout the week to come up with the perfect dish for the following categories: Dessert, Sandwich, and Appetizers. Hip Hop (Aug 14 th -18th) In this camp, campers will learn the ways of hip hop and will put their skills to the test into a fun routine to show off to parents and friends at the end of the week. Kroc Ninja Warrior (Aug 14 th -18 th ) Come ready for an action packed week filled with challenging obstacle courses! Do you have what it takes to be the next Kroc Ninja Warrior? Soccer (Aug 14 th -18th) This camp is designed for campers who love to play or want to improve their skills. Throughout the week campers will learn the fundamentals of the world s most popular sport including rules, ball-handling skills and strategy. Cleats & Shin Guards are optional. Solar Eclipse Camp (Aug 21 st -25 th ) Only offered this summer! There s a rare Total Solar Eclipse happening on August 21 st this summer! Come to camp to learn all about this unique phenomenon.

6 Kinder Camps, Ages 4-6 Jr. Mad Science (June 19 th -23 rd & July 31 st -Aug 4th) This camp will introduce your child to the mysteries of science and the world we live in! Jr. Mad Science Camp will harness your child s curiosity about science and combine it with high-energy activities to keep campers moving. Jr. Super Soakers (June 19 th -23rd) Come ready to get wet! Join us for a week of super soaker wars where we will practice target shooting, play a few water friendly games, and go head to head with an epic game of campers vs. counselors. Jr. Swim (June 26 th -30 th, & July 10 th -14 th & Aug 21 st -25th) 5 day of SWIM LESSONS for your Jr. Swimmer taught by certified Swim Instructors. Jr. Campers will have their swim lesson in the morning and then enjoy the different Kroc venues in the afternoon. Top Chef. Jr. (June 26 th -30 th & Aug 14 th -18th) Campers join the Kroc Chef to learn the essentials of cooking and kitchen safety. They will get to make multiple kid friendly recipes to eat throughout the week and have a variety of food related crafts and projects! Knights & Princesses (July 3 rd -7 th ) Once upon a time, your little knight or princess came to the Kroc Center to build and destroy castles, dress up in shining armor and princess dresses--and they learned exactly what it means to be a chivalrous knight or a princess at heart. Jr. Cupcake Wars (July 10 th -14 th ) This is one of our camp favorites coming this summer for our kinder Campers! Their job for the week is to enjoy creating and decorating cupcakes! Dinosaurs (July 17 th -21st) Come explore the prehistoric world of dinosaurs! Learn about the different types of dinosaurs, their names and how they lived, as well as fun and exciting dino facts! Messy Art (July 17 th -21 st ) A fun and messy art camp designed for campers to express themselves in a creative and fun way using a variety of materials. Expect hands on crafts, finger painting, and much more! Superhero Academy (July 24 th -28th) Up, UP, and AWAY! Jr. Campers are encouraged to come dressed up as their favorite superhero as we learn about different superheroes and their abilities.

7 Zootopia (July 24 th -28 th & Aug 7 th -11th) Whether you re a fan of the latest movie Zootopia or you just love zoo animals, come out for a roarin good time at camp this week! Under the Sea (July 31 st -Aug 4 th & Aug 14 th -18th) Is your child curious to learn about what s under the sea? Campers will learn each day about a new sea creature, create under the sea art, and enjoy several sea activities on dry land. It s your child s opportunity to go under the sea without having to travel far from home. Fun in the Sun (Aug 7 th -11th) Play water games, fun camp games and enjoy other summer-time activities. Playing outside and being active is an important part of being a kid and this camp will include lots of time for just that!
