Today, parents and guardians are continuously seeking ways to invest in their child s learning experience, especially over the summer. For over 50 years, the Greater Naples YMCA has provided summer day camp programs that reinforce our core values of caring, honesty, respect, responsibility, faith, empathy and integrity in a safe and nurturing environment. At the Y, we know it is vital that children are engaged in activities in which they are continuously learning and provided experiences that builds confidence. Y summer camps include programs where campers learn about the environment, technology, science, in addition to engaging in continuous education activities such as reading and math to avoid summer learning loss. Our well-trained and expert staff encourages every child to explore while creating safe and lasting memories for a lifetime. Learning never stops and the fun never ends at a Y summer camp! WHAT TO BRING It is important that your child comes to camp after having received a good night s sleep as well as a healthy breakfast in order to ensure for a fun, safe and energetic day. Our staff wants your child to get the most out of what our camp has to offer. Campers should be dressed in comfortable clothing, including closed toe shoes, such as gym shoes. Hats and visors are acceptable. Please send the following items with your camper everyday: Lunch & snacks Swimsuit Towel Sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher, spray preferred) Refillable Water Bottle Y STAFF Our staff members are more than camp counselors, they are role models. They exemplify the YMCA s core values of caring, honestly, respect, responsibility, faith, empathy and integrity. CAMP HOURS Summer Camp runs Monday - Friday, from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. Before and after camp care is included in your camp fee. Staff members are carefully screened, well trained and fully prepared to help every camper create priceless summer memories. Safety is our priority. Our counselor-to-camper ratios are 12:1. When campers are safe, campers thrive!
