A Little Bit of Everything To start the summer off right, why not try a week of camp guaranteed to be fun! With A Little Bit of Everything, anything can happen! There will be sports, baking, art, maybe even some water balloon tosses. Each and every day the children will have a chance to talk about their favorite things and even make some fun sweet treats. The campers will have the opportunity to bring their favorite thing from home to show their friends Afternoon Session: (12:30 pm 3:00 pm) Me and My American Girl - This is a fun group for the little girl who loves her best friend and wants to take her everywhere. Bring your American Girl Doll or whatever favorite doll you have. We will bring the excitement of a day in the city right to camp. The girls will have a blast designing outfits out of paper for their doll, enjoying a tea party, match my doll outfits, and even being a stylist and designing the perfect hairstyle. This is the perfect group for the girl who loves her doll. Legos- Campers if you love Legos and building things this is the perfect group for you. Use your imagination and the colorful blocks to build buildings, cars, and other exciting things. This will give the creative minds time to make their own masterpieces. Colonial Cooking- This is a fun and hands on group. The campers will get to make a simple bread with homemade butter just like they did in the colonial times. While making this tasty snack they will learn about the colonial times and where it all began for America. During this week the Campers will also make their very own ice-cream from scratch. This is an exciting group you don t want to miss out on. American Sports- This group will get active talking about all of the great sports our country has made and getting up to play them. We will play the normal games like Football, Baseball, and Basketball. But also come up with some great sport games of our own. This is a great group full of activity to get you up and moving while learning about why we are celebrating America. Afternoon Session: (12:30 3:00) All American All Week - Campers will have a fun week talking about our country and the July 4 th Holiday. During this week we will wear our Red, White, and Blue and have fun learning about our Country. We will make fun crafts and snacks for the upcoming holiday and have an exciting pizza party at the end of the week. Lots of learning and lots of fun.

5 Week Three (July 7 July -11) Mixed Up Fun at Immanuel Week Four (July 14 July -18) Lost in Time Morning Session: (9:00 am 12:00 pm) VBS Afternoon Session (12:30 pm 3:00 pm) Wacky, Wild, and Wonderful! Campers get to let loose and be their wild wacky selves. We will have fun wearing crazy outfits, making tiedye shirts with crazy colors, singing songs, playing games, baking some wacky treats, and of course learning a little bit about the wacky life in Suessville. Time Travel Week- Campers are you ready to go on an adventure without leaving town???? Jump into the time capsule and get ready for a crazy ride through time. We will explore what life was like from the time Jesus walked the earth, stop in the medieval times for some fun and cooking, travel right on through the 50 s,60 s 70 s and of course the 80 s stopping to listen to the music, and ending in Campers will have a chance to talk about what they think will happen in the future, flying cars, robots, whatever and wherever their imagination takes them. Campers will also get to take part in burying our first ever time capsule, with writing notes to the future sealing it in a can and putting it into the ground to be opened in 10 years. It s an exciting adventure and something they will never forget. Afternoon Session (12:30 3:00) Medieval Times- The perfect group for the camper that wants to learn more about Knights, Swords, Castles, Princes, and Princesses. This group will step back in time to the medieval times. They will get to build a castle as a group, design a catapult, learn about what they wore in those days and even make some special recipes right from the medieval times. Space Travel- This special group will have a chance to learn about outer space. In this week we will learn about the solar system, stars, build our own rockets, and talk about what is up there in the sky. This is a great group for the little astronaut or scientist.

6 Week Five (July 21 July -25) Art All Week Week Six (July 28 August 1) Science in the Summer Paper Crafts- Paper Everywhere! Campers will get to use their imagination and create wonderful works of art using paper. This group is for those who really love art and want to create some magic. Learn to make a pair of paper pajamas or some magazine beads. Campers will learn different folding techniques and make a variety of fun and creative projects. Theatrics- This group is for that actress, actor, or designer in your house. This group will decide on a short play to perform for the group. They will practice lines, design the costumes, and the setting for the stage. This is a great group to start learning how to act or how to be a set designer. Afternoon Session (12:30 pm 3:00 pm) Arts& crafts- Campers will get to be creative and make great works of art. We will use homemade play dough, paper, paint, and other great products to make crafts and create a theater presentation. Campers will need to bring a large t-shirt to wear over their clothes to help with stains because art can be messy and that s great!!! The possibilities of art are endless this week. Science in Nature- Campers will put their thinking hats on as we explore the wonderful world of science. This will be a fun filled week focusing on many different and exciting aspects of science. As a group we will take an adventure learning about bugs, nature, how to make a seed grow, the food chain, and the what s in the box game, along with many other exciting group activities. For those Campers really excited about Science you won t want to miss this group. Afternoon Session (12:30 pm 3:00 pm) Myth Busters- The campers will take part in special daily experiments. They will have a chance to really use their minds and try to figure out the outcome of each and every experiment before they take part in it. This is great for those little ones that always ask why does that happen? They can be a part of the entire observation just like real scientists. Natures Crafts- The campers will get to take part in fun and exciting nature walks finding the perfect objects to use when making their take home crafts each day. On these walks they will learn about all of the wonderful nature Connecticut has to offer. The campers will use objects they pick up and learn about along the way to spur their imagination for their crafts. Each and every day is new and exciting! This is a perfect group for the child that is always curious about the bugs, plants, or rocks outside. Imaginations run wild in Nature.
