2 Little Artist Camp (ages 3-6) June 4th - 8th 9:30-12:00 $165 July 23rd - July 27th 9:30-12:00 $165 The Little Artist Camp will bring a combination of Eurythmic, Art, Singing, Dancing and Creative Play. Children will listen to stories and develop their expression while learning musical and artistic fundamentals in a fun, creative way. Activities will include Puppet Theatre, Instrument Making, Putting on a Show, and more! Art Camp I Exploring Art Techniques June 4 th - 7 th 9:00-2:00 $175 All supplies included This camp will explore art techniques from throughout history. Topics will include Architecture (based on Medieval Castles), Painting (based on the Impressionist period), Print Making (in the style of Andy Warhol) and Mosaic Tile Work (from Ancient Greece). This course will be lots of fun and a great opportunity to expose even the youngest children to traditions of art processes and techniques.

3 Musical Theatre Camp (two age groups 6-11 and 12-18) June 18th - June 29th 9:00-1:30 $325 This year s musical theatre camp will take advantage of the fantastic theatre at Kat s Artist Tree to present a full show including lights, costumes, sound and all of the elements that go into a fully staged theatre production. This camp will give students the opportunity to use their creative minds and help them learn the basics of stage work, whether it be acting or singing. Students of all experience levels will have a chance to take part in the production, build self-confidence, make lasting friendships, and learn to be a team player. At the end of the two-week camp students will perform for friends and families in the new Theatre at Kat s Artist Tree. Songwriting Camp (ages 9+) June 11th - 15th 9:00-1:30 $175 This camp will help students take their song from idea to reality. Students of any instrument can sign up to work on every step in the song-writing process including composing, arranging and notating their song. In addition, the camp will offer guidance toward proper Copywriting to protect their work.

4 THEATRE TECH (TWO AGE GROUPS 6-11 & 12-18) Become part of the the crew for our Musical Theatre Camp and explore the worlds of Sound, Lights, Stage Direction and more. A show is only as good as the people who make it happen and this camp gives our students a chance to get behind-the-scenes and make some magic! JUNE 25TH - JUNE 29TH 9:00-1:30 $175 Costume Making Camp (two age groups 6-11 & 12-18) Design and build unique costumes for our Musical Theatre Camp. Students will get to participate in the entire process of dressing a cast from concept to performance. Prior experience with sewing is helpful but not required. Bring your creativity and your inner seamstress or tailor! June 25th - June 29th 9:00-1:30 $175

5 Piano Camp (ages 7+) June 18th - June 21st $175 July 16th - July 19th $175 9:00-1:30 Students must have a minimum of 1 year of piano experience. Space is limited to 7 students. Students in the Piano Camp will be allowed to experience many areas not typically covered in group classes or private lessons. Examples include improvisation, sight-reading skills, music theory, and musicianship development, as well as exposure to the history of music from different periods. Fine Art Camp Acrylic painting (ages 7+) June 18th - June 22nd 9:00-1:30 $195 All supplies included Exploring acrylic painting techniques is a wonderful way to get used to the medium. Any time you play with an art material, you become more comfortable with it and you will approach future projects with confidence. This is an advanced course for students who have had previous art training and want to create their own acrylic painting.

6 Studio Band Camp (ages 11+) July 9th - July 13th 9:00-1:30 $175 Want know what it s like to be a professional musician? Open to all instrumentalists (drums, bass, guitar, piano, horns, strings), this camp will push students to learn a variety of songs in multiple genres such as rock, pop, musical theatre, and more. Students will learn to move through these genres just like professional studio musicians. Working alongside the Voice Camp, the ensemble will develop skills to help them learn music quickly and prepare a program to perform on the final day of camp. (to be successful, students should have strong sight-reading skills) Dance Camp (two age groups 6-11 & 12-18) June 11th - 15th 9:00-1:30 $165 Our Dance camp will familiarize students with different styles of dance such as Hip- Hop, Jazz, Basic Ballet, and Acro. Each day will focus on each style, giving the students a well -rounded experience and open new horizons for them. Proper dress code is required, please contact the Academy for details.

11 Young Singers & Actors Camp (ages 6-13) July 16th - July 20th 9:00-1:30 $175 This camp will give younger students the opportunity to work hand-in-hand with professional performing artists. Intended for aspiring performers, campers will learn the basics of performing, auditioning, presentation, and dealing with stage fright. Students will also be working on the professional level equipment available at the Kat s Artist Tree Theatre. Fencing Camp (ages 8+) July 23rd - 27th 9:00-1:30 $195 Our fencing camp is designed for both beginning and intermediate fencers. Each day will include a combination of drill, footwork, and electric bounting competition. This camp is a great way to explore the fantastic challenges of fencing and get fit at the same time. A limited amount of equipment is available for beginner students.

12 Character Creation (ages 7-17) through fashion, hair & makeup July 9th - July 13th 9:00-1:30 $195 Campers are taught an array of important and practical skills for how to use clothing hair and makeup to bring their characters to life. We will use different techniques and designs to turn into our favorite characters and see how visual elements can impact a performance. Students will show off their creations by performing an awesome Showcase for friends and family on the last day of camp. (Students will be required to provide some items such as hairbrushes for personal hygiene purposes) Acting Camp (ages 10-18) July 23rd - July 27th 9:00-1:30 $175 Campers will get in touch with their inner Thespian in this in-depth look into the acting process. Through the use of Monologues, Scene Work, and exercises in empathy and visualization students will emerge with a better understanding of the art of Acting. Prior acting or performance experience is not required.

13 Photography Camp (ages 10-18) June 11th - 15th 9:00-1:30 $175 Camp will focus on getting the right exposure, composition, lighting, posing and how to get tack sharp focus. We will also look at different types of photography such as Portrait, Landscape, Macro, Action, and more. Students are required to have a digital camera, preferably with manual settings. Art Camp III: Cartooning July 23rd - July 27th 9:00-1:30 $175 All supplies included Have fun and get creative with this expressive and engaging art style. From funny cartoons to thrilling comics, this camp will teach students how to develop their characters and bring them to life on the page.

14 Challenge Your Vocal Abilities! This year s camp will give singers an opportunity to work alongside an instrumental ensemble. By doing so they will learn necessary skills that singers need to be successful working musicians. Students will work along with the Studio Band Camp to perform pieces in a variety of styles from Jazz to Pop, Rock, and Musical Theatre. Voice Camp (ages 12+) New students to Kat s Artist Tree may need one voice lesson/assessment before signing up for this camp - call office for details July 9th - July 13th 9:00-1:30 $175 Audio & Video Recording (ages 13+) July 16th - July 20th 9:00-1:30 $175 Students in this camp will get to explore the basics of both music and video recording and editing. Utilizing top-notch, professional equipment students will learn how use today s tools to achieve creative results.

15 Things to Know What to Expect Students should typically come dressed in comfortable clothes and close-toed shoes If participating in fencing or any camp that involves dancing or otherwise working on the stage, student wearing flip-flops or sandals may not be able to participate for safety reasons Students should bring a sack-lunch that does not need to be refrigerated or heated It s always a good idea to have a bottle of water with a closed lid Musical Theatre, Singing/Acting, Fashion, Voice, and all Art Camps will culminate in an open performance or gallery in the last minutes of the last day of camp Discounts Available We offer a $25 discount off your total bill if signing up for multiple camps or signing up siblings Completed registrations and deposits before 4/30 are eligible for an additional $15 off the total bill Receive an additional $10 off your total bill when you also prepay the full amount by 4/30.
