2 SPORTS CAMPS FOR BOYS & GIRLS Spaces Limited! Registration opens on February 1st: Quick and easy registration online or on our mobile app! GYMNASTICS CAMP Ages 6-12: Monday-Friday 12pm-3pm June 18th - 22nd July 16th - 20th August 13th - 17th ABK Gymnastics Camps are packed full of fitness, acrobatics, and proper gymnastics techniques. The sport of Gymnastics provides superior fundamental preparation for both boys and girls that often translates to successful experiences in future sports and athletics. Students will learn balance, strength, flexibility, and progressions in the Olympic Events. Gymnastics Camps are fun, and increase functional and overall strength! Boys will learn fundamental parkour moves, and add new tricks, and be challenged. DANCE CAMP Ages 6-12: Monday-Friday 12pm-3pm Dance Sampler: July 9th - 13th ABK Dance Camps are great for both the new and experienced dancer. In all of our fun camps students will learn rhythm and a dance routine. At the end of each camp students will have a performance for their parents! Come learn rhythm and beat hip hop, upbeat jazz and ballet. Students will learn a fusion of old and new music with improvisation and fun costumes! Hip Hop: August 6th - 10th SOCCER CAMP Ages 6-12: Monday-Friday 9am-12pm June 18th - 22nd July 16th - 20th August 20th - 24th ABK Soccer Camps are designed by an instructor licensed by the U.S. Soccer Federation to provide maximum touches on the ball to increase skill in ball handling and control. Camp skills include feints, attacking, defending, goalkeeping, passing and receiving. Each camp day players participate in skill activities, games, and scrimmages, as well as soccer specific fitness activities- all while having fun! Campers will need a snack, water bottle, shin guards and long socks (no cleats, please). Dinner & Breakfast Provided. ABK Karate Camps are designed for both the current martial arts student and the aspiring Black Belt. For three hours each day we are training technique and curriculum with the ability to use all the awesome equipment in the gym! Some camp activities include board breaking, weapons, sparring, ninja warrior style obstacle courses and games! One karate camp also will give you karate class credits that can go toward your next belt testing. ABK Aquatics Camps are a great way to kick start your child in swimming this summer. We are offering swim lessons, where your child will come to 45 minute swim classes 5 days a week (Mon-Fri) for one week. Beginner Dolphins (ages 3-5) & Sharks (ages 5-12) 12:00 pm-12:45pm: For children who have no swim experience. Advanced Dolphins (ages 3-5) & Sharks (ages 5-12) 12:45pm-1:30pm: For children who have had swim experience and are comfortable in the water. ABK Overnight Gymnastics Camp is designed for all recreational, Xcel, and Compulsory Gymnasts. Over 6 hours of training, skill development and camp activities. We introduce kids to a variety of sports with an emphasis on values, skill building, positive social behavior, and overall good health. Gross and fine motor skills will be explored daily. Since gymnastics provides a great foundation for all sports we will include gym time twice per week with a themed sport on the other 3 days. We provide four full hours of enriching, educational, preschool fun! Weekly attendance is strongly encouraged, however there is a 3 day minimum option for Preschool Camp. The camp runs 9am- 1pm. For full week campers, Friday is show off day, 1pm-1:15pm with a slide show in classroom and popcorn for campers and parents. Due to our flexible registration and scheduling options please fill out our day camp registration form and return it to our front desk. Recreational students ages 5-12 will enjoy games, crafts, gymnastics, dance, swimming, outdoor activities and more. Snacks and drinks will be provided throughout the day. Field trips will be available on selected Fridays. There will be an added $12 fee if your child chooses to participate in the field trip. Field trips will run from 10am 3pm. Field Trip Friday locations will be posted prior to the event. To ensure your child s spot they must be pre-registered. (Field trips are non-refundable) These camps are specially designed with parents in mind because we know how hectic summer can be. Use these Day Camps to prepare for a weekend vacation, catch up on daily tasks or just get some personal time. You can register your child for a single day or for the whole week. Day Camp General Information FAQ: *Children need to bring lunches, swimsuits and towels each day. * ABK will provide snack each day. *Lifeguards will be on duty for all swim activities. *Floatation devices are provided. *Recreational campers under 6 years must have a parent on the pool deck to participate in swimming activities. Campers that do not swim will do other activities or games. Registration and Payment: Annual Membership $30/year for individual $60/ year for families. All balances for camps are to be paid in full by the first of the month in which the camper will attend. A 25% deposit of the total camp cost is to be paid at the time of registration. If balance due is less than $100, camp is to be paid in full at the time of registration. For those attending camps for the entire summer we will divide your remaining balance over June, July, Aug to be included with your normal monthly billings. Monthly balances are due on the 1st or 5th of each month. Cancellation: A full refund less 10% processing fee will be granted if cancellation is made 30 days or more before the first day of the camp week, a 25% processing fee will be charged if made days prior to the first day of the camp week. (Note: daily rate adjusted based on number of days attended) No refunds are granted 14 days or less. Rescheduling: Scheduled camp dates may be changed (when space is available) up to 7 days prior to that week s camps.
