Starting on the first Saturday (Nov 2nd), Ridgecrest is celebrating their 50th anniversary of the city's incorporation, and we will be helping in that celebration. Our Junior Warden, Charles Quinlan is helping to prepare a float for the parade. Also, thanks to Will Lusk for both driving and the use of his trailer. While that is going on, we will have a booth set up on Balsum Ave. We are working to get electricity there so that we can run the Child ID program. Normally the first Saturday of November is s installation, but since they will be participating in these celebrations, their installation was postponed to Sunday Nov 3rd. On Wed Nov 6th, the Stated Meeting dinner will be served by White Shrine. Right before the Stated Meeting itself, we are hoping to give a 50 year pinning ceremony for Jack Neffew (still checking his schedule). It's election time, who knows there may be some surprises in store. Also, at this meeting, we will vote upon the dues increase, so come on down and put your two cents in. The second Saturday (Nov 9th) we start the morning off with a District Officers Meeting in Bishop. We will be car pooling up there, so meet at the Lodge at 0630, to be there by The meeting starts at By the time we are back the Ridgecrest Community dinner should be in full swing. Speaking of Saturdays, Kernville will have a Thanksgiving Parade on Nov 23, and Kern River Lodge will have a breakfast prior to that parade. This November, we will be practicing First Degree, with a possible conferral of that degree in December.
