2 2 FINANCIAL REPORT We are tightening up our purse strings going into state panning championships. Have already had close to $500 in (pre) ticket sales coming in. Reminder the tickets can be delivered (or extra purchased) at the shop, Pioneer Mining Supply. We are at $13,000 ish. After container and rent for container and all our recent purchases we're back to operating only expenses. Heather Willis, Treasurer Outing June 3 rd Hello Goldhounds, On June 3rd a dozen of us took a day trip to Parks Bar between Grass Valley and Marysville on the Yuba River. We met early Saturday morning and drove practically right up to the river. The weather was off and on cloudy and the temperature was comfortable all day. Most of us panned the gravel bar. Some tried detecting. Lots of hard work was done, unfortunately there was little to nothing to show for it gold wise. Lots of tired and sore muscles but little gold. Needless to say, I doubt the 12 of us will head back there soon. Better luck next time folks. Maybe your pan always smile brightly upon you!! Robert Jordan Outings Coordinator Motherlode Gold Hounds

9 GOLDHOUND CLASSIFIEDS Do you have something for sale? For Barter? Maybe you have a request of your fellow miner s? Or just want to offer something free for the asking? List it free for all Goldhounds, here on the Goldhound Classifieds. Send your ad and contact information to Sherry Andersen at SherryRocks57@gmail.com along with any photos needed. Your ad will be in the next newsletter and can go on the Goldhounds Live page on Goldhounds.com web site if requested. Claims East of Foresthill For Sale **************************** The Truckee Boys are moving and must sell their three claims. All located in the Canada Hill Mining District near the American Hill mine, 20 miles East of Foresthill. All three are on yearround running creeks and have good to excellent access. Many Goldhounds know this area as we have had them up to the claims over the years. The Green Mine is on Little Secret Creek and is an old drift mine. 5 minute walk to creek and mine. Antoine (El Jardine), you can drive right up to the creek and has a lot of old workings. Deet Delight is about a 15 minute hike, but has access to two creeks, Antoine and "No Name". No name creek is at the bottom of the ridge that the Goldhounds detected heavily and still work just below the American Hill mine. Great for sluicing, power sluicing, and metal detecting. Gold can be commonly spotty, but with excellent access you won't waste time and energy getting to the claims. Call Marty for more info at (Sherry Andersen is interested in partnering with anyone interested in buying these claims. Contact Sherry at (916) ) 9 THE MOTHER LODE GOLDHOUND NAME, IMAGES, AND PHOTOS ARE THE PROPERTY of Mother Lode Goldhounds and cannot be used without expressed written permission. Don t even try it, remember, we hang claim jumpers.

10 The Mother Lode Goldhounds and Nuggets want to Thank Hansen Brothers for their generous donations of gravel used by the Nuggets during gold panning demonstrations and lessons. 10
