2 It is sad to announce that we lost one from our family of the Ozark Mountain 4x4 Club. Marty Tindle died early Saturday morning, February 1 st, at the S.M.O.R.R. offroad park in an ATV side-by-side accident. Marty was always very active in the club, which he had been a part of for many years. He was always willing to go the extra mile to help out. Marty helped at the S.M.O.R.R off-road ranch from the very beginning. Marty would take care of the ranch to give Brandon a break from time to time. Brandon shared that one of the times while Marty was watching the ranch he became worried that one of the cats would get run over or ride off on a trailer. To prevent harm from coming to the cat, he kept it in the ranch house bathroom all weekend. Brandon added that Marty was always willing to help with anything that was asked of him, and that both Marty and Cindy gave their all for him. Marty will be greatly missed by all. (Obituary from Butler Funeral Home) Martin Dean Tindle, born August 4, 1962 died February 1, 2013 at the Southern Missouri Off-road Ranch near Seymour Missouri while doing what he dearly loved, being outdoors with his friends. Marty was born on August 4, 1962 in Springfield, Missouri to Thomas Martin Tindle and Bonnie Dean (Harville) Tindle. Marty graduated Fair Play High School in He worked for a short period of time for Wilbert Vault Company, at the time of his passing he was a maintenance supervisor with the Missouri Department of Transportation. Marty was a very social person who loved his family and friends. He was always just a phone call away and was ready and willing to help anyone at a moment s notice. He resided on the family farm of Bonnie and Tommy Tindle where Tommy and Marty raised beef cattle and brush. Marty loved farm work, but mostly loved to cut and bail his hay. He became a master Mason on , he was a member of the Valley of Joplin Scottish Rite, on May 19, 1990, and was created as a Shriner on June 2, 1990 in Springfield, Missouri, he was also a past Rajah of the Lake Stockton Shrine Club. Marty was also a member of the Ozark Mountain 4x4 Club. Marty met the love of his life Cindy Gambriel on Halloween night October 31, 1992, their whirl-wind relationship has only proven the love and devotion they had for each other. Marty had a plethora of friends from all over the U.S., and a few from abroad. He knew no boundaries and how far he would travel when it came to having fun. He worked hard and played harder. For those who knew Marty, we know just how capable he was in instigating something fun to get into. Marty was a country boy through and through, and that was obvious when you saw him while he was in Fun Mode. With either his clean, or his dirty black cowboy hat, his long sleeve shirt, or in his t-shirt with jeans and boots and let s not forget his gloves and his handy wipes. Marty is survived by his parents; Tommy and Bonnie Tindle of Fair Play, his fiancé; Cindy Gambriel of the home, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends that will miss Marty very much. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am, on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, Missouri with Reverend Billy Moore officiating.

We would also need to cover that Friday, so technically it would June There was some discussion about the Jamboree. It was voted on and passed to continue hosting the Jamboree this year. Checking Account*: Savings Account*: CD*: Wanted: Club Trailer At the close of the evening, Alex brought up that the Club Trailer is starting to have issues, and needs to have some work done on it, or we need to look at getting a new one. Alex suggested buying a bigger trailer, maybe trading ours in, or selling it outright. The general consensus was to sell it outright and use that money towards a new one. It was estimated that our trailer might be worth $1,000 by some. Randy Schweke suggested setting up a trailer fund. Funding options and rules are currently being researched and will be discussed at future meetings. **As of January Raffles were postponed for this meeting. Donations collected went to support Marty s family. Southwest Four Wheel Drive Association The Club is looking at hosting the quarterly meeting for SWFWDA. Since the Jamboree has moved to June, we discussed doing the quarterly meeting possibly in August. Alex is working with the SWFWDA to see what will work for all, and putting together a proposal to present to them. We are planning on holding this event at SMORR. More information to follow on this. CLUB SIGN Alex shared that the Club sign to be put up at SMORR will be completed in the next 30 days, and will be up in the next 60 days. This project was approved back when Zach Summers was President, and has been pending since. So Alex said it s time to get it finished. The sign at SMORR will get our name out to all who enter the Park, and it will be great PR for the Club. 1
