3 This Month s Meeting Minutes Greeting to all Thunderbird Lovers and Admirers, Secretary Dee Dee Byrne was not in attendance due to another event Delora hosted and planned this event and a great event it was. The weather was wonderful for a leisurely stroll up and down Florence Ave in Sebastopol to view the urban folk art in the front yards of the homes. The art is the creation of Patrick Amiot and Bridgette Laurent. The art is jointly conceived, Patrick sculpts and Bridgette paints. There was something for everyone from sports to farm equipment to super heroes. You can visit their website for more photos of the urban art and information Once our group took in the sights we returned to our luncheon destination, 8 Cuisine and Wine for a Asian infused lunch. The first course was multiple plates of sushi which was followed by numerous plates of mongolian beef, vegetables, shrimp, eggplant and tofu and rice. No one left hungry, that s for sure. Maryanne and I had to leave before desert but our waiter brought our own dessert to go. The staff was very attentive and took good care of us as did the chef. This is a great little gem that we will go back to again. Arlis spoke about next months meeting which will be lunch at the Hyatt Brasserie in Railroad Square followed by Buddy, The Buddy Holly Story at the 6 th Street Playhouse at 2pm. More information is contained on the events page. Remember to RSVP Lunch, Show or both. Maryanne and I will be in the Pacific Northwest during July and absent for this meeting. Hyatt Hotel Restaurant "The Brasserie" Parking marked off spaces in front in view from where we are eating. Time: 11:30 sharp Cost: $17 per person inc tax and tip. Please bring cash or write a check and give to Arlis Minetti that day. Addl cost: Drinks are up to you.
