4 Games Night at Dawn & John s, September 13 was a great social evening with a delicious array of snacks and desserts. Playing games was mentioned many times, but everyone was having such a good time visiting, none were ever started. Maybe next time.. The MML hosted by Carolyn & Ray McDermott, September 20, started in Titusville as 11 cars lined up to head out for a very rainy ride over the NASA Causeway on to Merritt Island s Pine Island, where we were given a guided tour of Sam s House, the oldest house in Brevard County. We also toured and learned about Sam s Cabin which was constructed in 1875 in Eau Gallie, and then reassembled on Merritt Island in Our guide, Martha, was wonderful and shared many amazing facts about some of the County s first settlers. As we continued to our lunch destination, Fishlips at the Port, it was still rainy, but we all had a great view of the Port and lunch was fun and delicious. Thanks Carolyn & Ray for a great MML and an educational trip!
