Since its inception in 1998, the Foundation has raised $40 million under Michele's leadership. Michele attended CCI and Fanshawe College in London.

The Foundation's current campaign is the Diagnostic Imaging Equipment Renewal Campaign with a goal of $6.9 million.

These 4 important pieces of equipment serve numerous programs and are key for diagnoses in a multitude of cases.

Fax ORIGINAL CHARTER # 1011 issued - November 1 st, 1921 March 9, 2016 Our speaker this week was Michele Grzebien-Huckson, Executive Director of the Foundation of the CK Health Alliance. She was introduced by Rotarian Colin Patey. Since its inception in 1998, the Foundation has raised $40 million under Michele's leadership. Michele attended CCI and Fanshawe College in London. She is a Rotarian with the Chatham Sunrise Club. Our club has been involved in supporting the Foundation previously, most recently with the MRI campaign. The Foundation's current campaign is the Diagnostic Imaging Equipment Renewal Campaign with a goal of $6.9 million. The first stage is a new Fluoroscopy system, a new CT Scan, new Ultrasound Equipment and a new Bone Desitometer. These 4 important pieces of equipment serve numerous programs and are key for diagnoses in a multitude of cases. The need to replace the current diagnostic equipment is urgent so that CKHA will be able to provide better and more efficient care. Michele brought two doctors, Dr. Bill Pavlosky from London and Dr. Main Yee to help explain the role of the new diagnostic equipment. The improvement in imaging and speed is dramatic with the new SPECT/CT equipment and the doctors emphasized the importance of this campaign. We wish the Foundation success with the fundraising and we appreciate the update. Our thanks were expressed by Rotarian Chris Prince.
