The New Year for 2017 has begun and what we achieve in this year is in our hands. I wish the best to all. Director Kevin is in the midst of planning an International Night for members, partners and visitors. Kevin will keep us informed of date and venue once these have been confirmed. Club Service Director Des and Eric Barry are planning a Guess Who s Coming to Dinner. These have been well received in the past. This evening is not a Master Chef contest but an opportunity to share a meal and fellowship with three other couples from our club. Please consider being a host you won t regret it. Community Service Director George and ably assisted by Dale are organising a working Bee for Camp Eagle at Rowallan Park. Underground cabling is to be laid to ensure that generators can be safely and easily used. This will improve safety for all Camp participants and volunteers. Our District is organising a weekend institute to provide fast paced and interactive courses designed to improve the knowledge of Rotarians. The course fee will be funded by our club and not individual members. The flyer is further on in the bulletin. As numbers are limited please advise Secretary Geoff as soon as possible.
