24 CURRENT DISPUTES Two disputes Payment period of 7 days v/s 21 days Claim for extension of time Based on 65 days claim Mangang offered revised completion of 30 September 2008 (20 days), with extra R1.5 m Contractor rejected the offer Parties currently in discussion, failing which will go ahead with adjudication
25 REALISTIC COMPLETION DATE Based on recovery plan, work has been accelerated Professional team believes Actual completion will be end Oct 08, beginning Nov 08 Hiring specialist for Raking beams may speed up work more, Contractor against it due to costs Stadium will be completed before FIFA deadline Good decision by Mangaung to allow 4 months safety margin
