The other 4 are fully committed on MLM projects Extra 109 workers have been identified and registered to participate in a SETA Learnership programme

22 RECOVERY PLAN Extra 1 fixed Crane and two mobile cranes Additional set of shuttering for more welding Additional working hours during week days But time off on pay Fridays and Saturdays 50% working on Saturdays Additional site team and supervisors Night work for precast units Regular motivational talks with the workforce by a professional motivational speaker

23 FURTHER OPPORTUNITY AREAS Work longer hours including pay weekends Working over weekends with full teams Employ more qualified and experienced personnel Review construction planning and methodology to limit time lost due to learning curves Approach specialist contractors for management and process support were required (e.g. raking beams work) Contractor raised COSTS as shortcoming

24 CURRENT DISPUTES Two disputes Payment period of 7 days v/s 21 days Claim for extension of time Based on 65 days claim Mangang offered revised completion of 30 September 2008 (20 days), with extra R1.5 m Contractor rejected the offer Parties currently in discussion, failing which will go ahead with adjudication

25 REALISTIC COMPLETION DATE Based on recovery plan, work has been accelerated Professional team believes Actual completion will be end Oct 08, beginning Nov 08 Hiring specialist for Raking beams may speed up work more, Contractor against it due to costs Stadium will be completed before FIFA deadline Good decision by Mangaung to allow 4 months safety margin

26 FREE STATE RUGBY ISSUES MLM is stadium owner, FSRU is stadium operator Parties signed 20 years lease agreement, with option to renew for another 20 years. Effective since December 2001 Review of lease agreement essential due to capital investment Negotiations in progress, but not going smoothly
