Though not all of the members of Capitol Steps have been former Capitol Hill staffers, together the performers have worked in eighteen Congressional Offices and represent 65 years of collective House and Senate staff experience. Performances by the Capitol Steps have been seen on the Today Show, 20/20, Entertainment Tonight, Nightline, and National Public Radio s All Things Considered. 3

The Everglades, within minutes of Marco Island, is the only place where alligators and crocodiles cohabitate. While the Island is only 4 miles wide by 6 miles long, it is the largest of Florida's Ten Thousand Islands, located on the Gulf of Mexico in Southwest Florida. WASDA is contractually obligated to fill this block and may be exposed to significant financial liability should our members fail to support this room block. Please Note: In addition to the rate listed above, there will be a $6.00 Resort Amenities Fee charged to each room, each day. This fee includes bell staff, housekeeping, beach and pool service. In addition, the Marriott Marco Island Resort & Spa has extended the WASDA group room rate for three (3) days before and three (3) days after the Annual Meeting dates, based on availability. Travel Information The Marriott Marco Island Resort & Spa is about 50 minutes from the Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) in Ft. Myers. A cab to the hotel costs approximately $ The resort is also accessible by Naples Municipal Airport (APF). The Naples airport is a 25 minute drive from the resort. WASDA & Avis have secured a partnership that offers you spectacular savings while in Marco Island. Call Avis at or online at and give them WASDA S AVIS WORLDWIDE DISCOUNT number (T148599) to make your reservations and get the discount. These rates are valid one week before and after the meeting. Driving Directions From the Southwest Florida International Airport (At Ft. Myers): After exiting the airport, follow the signs to I-75 South. Follow I-75 approximately 34.5 miles to Exit 101. Once you exit make a right hand turn which will place you on County Road 951 (Collier Blvd). Follow Rd. 951 for 15 miles onto Marco Island. Once you cross the bridge onto Marco Island, Rd. 951 will become Collier Boulevard. Follow Collier Boulevard for an additional 3 miles and the Marriott will be on your right. From the Naples Airport: Exit the airport, turn left onto North Road and go approximately 1/4 mile to Airport-Pulling Road. Turn right onto Airport-Pulling Road and follow to U.S. 41. Turn left on U.S. 41 and go approximately 5 miles to County Road 951(Collier Blvd). Turn right on County Road 951 and follow for approximately 8 miles and cross over the bridge, which brings you onto Marco Island. County Road 951 will become Collier Boulevard. Follow Collier Boulevard for an additional 3 miles and the Marriott will be on your right. WEATHER & WARDROBE The attire for the 2007 Annual Meeting is business casual. For men, golf shirts, shirts, and slacks are appropriate. Blouses, sweaters, skirts and slacks are appropriate for women. Marco Island generally experiences highs in the mid 70 s and lows in the low 60 s in February. 4

Instead of finding the same stores that are so often duplicated, The Village has Wednesday, February 28, 2007 Golf Tournament The Rookery at Marco Island 1:00 pm shotgun start The Rookery 3433 Club Center Boulevard / Naples, FL / Phone: WASDA is pleased to offer golfers an exceptional golfing experience at The Rookery Golf Course. This semi-private course has been recently renovated to offer golfers an 18,000 square foot championship course with immense greens, bountiful fairways and pristine turf conditions. You can also expect to see some of Florida s indigenous wildlife in the surrounding wetlands. Please note that lunch will not be provided by WASDA however there will be opportunities to purchase food and beverages on the course. Fee: $220 Includes: Green fees/cart fees, scoring, practice balls and roundtrip shuttle transportation. Please note that LUNCH IS NOT INCLUDED. The Rookery s dress code is as follows: No jeans, t-shirts, gym shorts or jogging suits. Men must wear collared shirts with slacks or mid-length shorts. 5
