The Annual Board of Directors Meeting and Administrative & Finance Meeting is scheduled for October 20-22, 2018 at the Renaissance Atlanta Waverly Hotel. The following sessions will take place during this meeting: Orientation for New Officers, Committee Chairs and Current Officers Committees will meet with their committee members to plan their strategies for 2019 and receive directions from the national president Committees will have a chance to submit budget requests for 2019 Review of the 2018 annual convention budget Establishment of the 2019 operating budget Exploration of new partnerships and fundraisers for NFDMA Special arrangements for reduced air transportation fares have been made with United Airlines and Delta Airlines, along with special rates for car rentals through AVIS. Room Rates Standard King Rooms $ Standard Double Rooms $ A 14% tax will be added to your room rate. An additional $3.00 per night Georgia Recreational Tourism Fee and $5.00 per night, State of Georgia Hotel/Motel Fee, will be added to your room. Room rates are good for two (2) days prior to and two (2) days after the meeting. Hotel Cancellations and Refunds All hotel reservations must be cancelled directly with the hotel, 48 hours prior to your arrival date. If you plan to cancel your room reservation(s), please contact that national office first, to see if there is a waiting list. Meeting Registration Registration for the 2018 Annual Board of Directors and Administrative & Finance Meeting is open to all licensed members, apprentices, students and guests at Registration Fees The registration fee for each member is $ ($ for non-member licensed professionals). The guest registration fee is $75.00 per person. Apprentices and students are invited to attend for a fee of $ THE REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 28, Registration Cancellations Registration cancellations must be submitted in writing to the national office no later than, Friday, October 5, 2018 in order to receive a refund, minus the $25.00 administrative fee. After Friday, October 5, 2018, you will not be able to receive a refund. All registration refunds will be processed thirty (30) days after the close of the meeting. 6 7
