1 HPBExpo 2017 Pre-Show Bulletin With the show beginning in less than three weeks, we wanted to provide you with some general information. Attendee and exhibitor registration is located in the Registration Lobby, Bldg. C of the Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC). 2 Policies: Expo Badge The official Expo registration badge must be prominently worn at all times for prompt admission into the Exhibit Hall, Outdoor Burn Area, Tailgate & Chef Cook-off events, and Education and Manufacturer Training sessions. No one will be permitted in the indoor or outdoor exhibit areas without a badge. Lost badges should be reported immediately to registration personnel. A $10 fee will be charged for replacement of a lost badge. HPBA Badge Policy All badges issued to companies are to be used only by that company s employees or family. Use of badge by anyone other than person to whom the badge was issued will be grounds for confiscation of the badge. Companies are prohibited from providing any of their allotted badges to persons who are not employees or family. Refund & Cancellation Policy The deadline for refunds was January 13. Refund requests that were received in writing by January 13 are processed less a $10 administrative fee. No refunds for registration, education passports, NFI certification, other courses, and events will be made for payments received onsite. Children In accordance with display rules and regulations and security measures, children under the age of 12 are prohibited from entering the trade show floor and Outdoor Burn Area at any time, including infants. There will be no exceptions to this rule. Children 12 and older must have a badge to enter exhibit halls. Badge(s) can be added or purchased in registration, Registration Lobby (Bldg. C). Photographs - Attendees Cameras will be allowed on the show floor, but no picture taking including cell phone pictures is allowed without the express approval of a company representative in the exhibitor booth that is being photographed. Photographs - Exhibitor Character and Conduct Under no circumstance shall booth personnel photograph and/or enter the exhibit space of another exhibitor without permission from the assigned exhibitor, and at no time may anyone photograph and/or enter an exhibit space which is not staffed. The use of deceptive and/or unethical methods to obtain information and/or gain an advantage over a competitor is strictly prohibited. Violators may, at the discretion of show management, be penalized with the loss of priority points, ejection from the event, or any other measures as deemed appropriate. Please report violations to HPBExpo Show Security in Room C103. Solicitations Restrictions Registered individuals of non-exhibiting manufacturing companies are welcome on the show floor, but will be identified by a yellow stripe on their Expo badge. Sales or solicitations by these individuals and/or firms not renting booth space in the show are strictly prohibited. Exhibitors reserve the right to refuse booth entry. 3 HPBEXPO SHUTTLE BUS SERVICE: HPBExpo will offer shuttle bus service from hotels within the HPBExpo Housing block to the Georgia World Congress Center. Click here for hotel map and shuttle schedule. These shuttles will run Wednesday through Saturday. If you have questions about the shuttle or need to make an advance reservation for a wheelchair-accessible shuttle, please call KUSHNER & ASSOCIATES at (310) during shuttle hours. Airport and Ground Transportation The Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) is just minutes away from downtown Atlanta and the Georgia World Congress Center. Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC) Parking The daily parking rate is $10. There are over 5,600 parking spaces to make visiting the Georgia World Congress Center convenient for guests. Standard daily rate for parking is $10. During major events and game days, parking ranges from $15 $50 on campus. All lots are gated and attendants are on duty during all show/event hours. Additionally, the GWCC public safety force patrols the lots and decks ensuring the safety of you and your automobile. You may book rentals online or call Hertz Rental at (800) (US, Canada, and Toronto) and outside of these areas call (405) ; available 24 Hours. Taxi Service Flat Rate Fees from/to the Airport Downtown - $30.00 Midtown - $32.00 There is a $2.00 charge for each additional person. Flat Rate Fees Within Downtown and Midtown Fares originating from a business and concluding at a business within the zone of Downtown or Midtown have a rate of $8.00 for one person. There is a $2.00 charge for each additional person. Business Service Center For your convenience, a FedEx Office is located in the Registration Lobby Level 1.
