2 Presentación The basketball Valencia Challenge is a basketball tourname nt of training teams that takes place every year in the city of Valencia and several neighboring towns. This year's edition begins on Thursday 18th and ends on April 21st (Easter). The event is aimed at teams of all categories of training and both sexes. It also counts from the year 2017 with a category for Intellectually handicapped like wheelchair basketball. In the last two editions, the tournament has counted with more than 2000 participants in each, having parity in practically all categories. The profile of the tournament combines the excellent tourist offer of the city of Valencia with a clear goodwill to improve the quality of the event in terms of sports service, implementing novelti e s i n t h e l o g i s t i c s o f t h e t o u r n a m e n t e a c h year. This season we will focus on achieving live statistics d u r i n g t h e g a m e, t h r o u g h N B N 2 3, a company specialized in live basketball. The organization of the event is run by 3 entities, OcioExper ience SL (company dedicated to the organization of sporting events and cultural trips), CB Claret Benimaclet an d CB L Horta Godella (basketball clubs of Valencia). Last edition 2018, the BVC moved part of its competition to L Alquiería del Basket. This season, we will recount with i t s f a c i l i t i e s and focus its efforts on the tournament to continue growing and evolving towards what we believe may be one of the be st tournaments in Spain.

3 VALENCIA Va l e n c i a c a n b e a c i t y o f c l i c h é s : T h e L i g h t, t h e m o o n, t h e gunpowder, the paella, the flowers, the Fallas. They are the key to try to explain what, in reality, you can't explain with words. It is necessary to visit and know Valencia to see that centuries-old t r a d i t i o n s c o e x i s t t o g e t h e r w i t h m o d e r n i t y. T h a t t h e s e a a n d the city are compatible. That the green of the orchard can be located next to a modern urban plot. That, day and night, Valencia is unique. Now, the capital of the Turia is much more. 6 LA ALQUERIA DEL BASKET BEST GYM IN EUROPE For this edition we will count with the largest and best gym in Europe. The recently inaugurated Alquería del Basket of Valencia. Located behind the Fuente de San Luis Pavillion, in the south east of the city. There are 9 indoor and parquet floor courts and 4 outdoor courts A state-ofthe-art facility that certainly raises the level of quality and tournament conditions. We make this effort to be able to develop several of our projects and visions in this event. We will be able to count no a fan zone and activities for parents and companions. To generate a magnificent basketball environment, with a continuous movement of matches and we help the Alquería to accomplish one of his objectives... basketball non stop

8 SERVICIOS Accident insurance: It will cover the first medical assistance in case of need. Physiotherapy on the court: To do the first assessment. Transport: Travelling from the arenas to the accommodations will be in charge of the organization, provided that the teams are housed in the offered accommodation. Family and companions may not take use of this transport since those seats are only for teams. Responsible for the accommodation: Halcón viajes will be the accommodation responsible, both in reception and arrival, as well as during the days of the event. Volunteers: They will be in the arenas helping to the good performance of the tournament. Programme of activities: Directed to all audiences. Fan zone: It will be at the head arena (Alquería del Basket). It will have many ongoing activities that will develop a program open to anyone who wants to participate. Competitions, shooting tournaments, food, Dj in the evenings, tournament dinners Welcome pack: Bag for all participants including: Tournament memories, BVC guide, and many gifts.

9 Accomodation Different accommodation options for different needs, the difference prices is in the service. The prize includes three nights from Thursday meal until Sunday breakfast both included. In full board. The organization will determine where will be the meals an dinners at each accommodation by setting this option to the established prices. The organization will determine the competition schedule and the interest points where the activities will be. Free coach every 10 players, from the second coach, 70 discount on the chosen option. 10 HOSTELS IN VALENCIA DOWTOWN The difference in prices is based on the accommodation conditions, food and meeting points, services offered and years of existence. Meals and dinners will be maintained through catering at the hostel or in the Alqueria del Basket (Depending on schedule). The rooms and the toilets are shared. The same club coaches will share bedroom. The organization will complete the places depending on demand, and will provide information about bed availability to the teams, so they can put their participants in different multiple rooms. The hostels are reserved for clubs that come with 3 or more teams. The best tournament location to stay. In Valencia Downtown. Excellent communication with everywhere. Rooms for places. Hostel Quart, lunch and dinner in the Hostel Hostels River, lunch and dinner at Restaurants, at Alquería or catering at the Hostel, depending of schedule. Hostel Up, lunch and dinner in the Hostel. 11 SAN JOSÉ RESIDENCE AND HOSTEL BGOOD CHOICE FOR A CLUB THAT WANT TO BE WITH THE PARENTS (BUT MUST REACH FULL CAPACITY) San Jose Hostel is located 10-minute walk from Godella Arena. Also located near to the metro which leads to Valencia, with what there are so many options to have a quality free-time. It has basketball courts, park zone so the participants can be at ease, in addition It has the necessary security measures so that they are controlled. Shared bathrooms. This accommodation is perfect for a same-sex club who looks for good joint coexistence, with a maximum of 47 players in total. RESIDENCE The residence is near by and has a higher accommodation quality, double and triple rooms with own bathroom and more intimacy. That s why the price is higher. It has 70 places. A 10 minutes walk from one of the tournaments arenas (Godella), and 10 minutes from the metro which leads to Valencia RESIDENCE: 70 PLACES IN DOBLE ROOMS (2/3 beds) HOSTEL: 2 rooms with bunk beds with capacity for 20 and 27 players. An excellent choice for a club that comes with many teams. Next to the beach, 15 minute bus to Valencia City centre. 15 TARIFAS The basic option involves tournament registration and all its advantages, accommodation at the chosen place and full board from the Thursday (April 18 th ) lunch to Sunday (April 21 st ) breakfast. The capacity of each accommodation is limited to a number of places. Reservations are done by order of payment and documentation delivery. We send them to you at the address you want to and you can ask for the minimum amount of 100. Recommended selling price: 10 euros. Shipping costs are covered by your account. Once you register you can ask for information on the contact to organize the order and the arrival. 10 sold t-shirts by player reduces his trip cost by 50 euros.

17 REGISTRATION RULES The registration process will take place in the following way: request and document delivery from the organization to formalize it.. Once the documents are returned duly filled and once received the reservation amount, the team s list will be requested so Halcón Viajes can put in contact with the registered clubs.. Halcón Viajes will locate the groups depending on the requested conditions. Last day to the payment of the remaining amount will be March 15 th, Teams registering after March 1 st must pay the total tournament amount in the first request. Reservation amount: Advance payment of 600 euros per team. (Accommodation) + submission of the duly completed application form + picture of the team and picture of the club s shield. This amount will be used as bail and will be deducted from the final price of the group. Cancellation: You must notify it a month in advance (before 28 February), if not the reservation amount won t be returned. The categories will be completed by registration order, putting the teams that are registered out-of-quota, in reserve. Attendees will allow the use of tournament pictures and videos with their teams and players by the company with the purpose of promoting any activity organized by itself.

21 UNICEF The Basketball Valencia Challenge collaborates with UNICEF from several editions ago. We have a volunteer group who encourage the collaboration from the public and players. UNICEF Spain is one of the 36 international Committees that contributes to the UN children s Fund. Objective: To ensure compliance with the children rights such as health, education and protection all around the world. UN children s Fund is the main international organization who works to promote children s rights and try to achieve real changes in the lives of millions of children. His work is based on the Convention on the Rights of the Child, the most ratified human rights treaty in the world. The destination of the funds raised in the tournament: Child survival.
