Aboard the meticulously restored umber and cream 1920s and 30s carriages, passengers enjoy fine food and wines as Britain's countryside unfolds at the window. Enjoy Britain at its best with a British Pullman classic The train Eleven carriages, each an original masterpiece from the 1920's and 1930's with their own name and unique personality. The British Pullman can carry up to 252 passengers and consists of 11 parlor cars. 5 kitchens and 1 service car. Each carriage seats between 20 and 26 passengers. Seating in the carriages is either in small compartments seating up to four people or in the open car mostly at tables for two. There is also a limited number of single and triple tables in the open car. Client will enjoy a fully guided tour (where applicable all entrance fees are included). Alternatively clients may prefer to spend time at their leisure. All meals served on board the British Pullman are freshly prepared by master chefs, and are accompanied with chilled champagne and wine. The actual meals served vary according to the journey taken. Special dietary meals available (must be reserved at time of booking).

2 Service Stewards on the British Pullman train will serve meals and any drinks or refreshments clients may require. A Train Manager will be on hand throughout the journey. He is there to help should clients have any questions while on board. The Head Chef is responsible for creating menus and supervising all preparation aboard the train. Clothing Smart daywear is requested. For dinner, more formal wear is customary. Smoking Orient-Express operates a no smoking policy. The hot springs first attracted the Romans to build the spa of Aqua Sulis, and the remains of the baths and other archaeological finds can be seen here. In Saxon times, King Offa founded an Abbey at Bath, where King Edgar was crowned in 973. Bath s fashionable heyday came in the 18th century when Beau Nash regulated bathing and constructed the assembly room and theatres. Today, Bath is Britain's best preserved Georgian city. On arrival at Bath clients will be met by guides who will accompany them on a motor coach tour of this delightful city including the Museum of Costume and the famous Roman Baths and Pump Room. Intrigue is in the air as they anticipate their visit to Brighton and the jewel in Brighton s crown- the Royal Pavilion. During the journey clients will meet all the suspicious characters embroiled in a dastardly plot. On arrival at Hove, clients will be greeted by guides who will escort them to their coach for a ride to the Royal Pavilion. Clients are asked to pay close attention to the sites visited as they will be invited to solve a mystery during the return journey. Prizes will be awarded. The coach will return clients to the Pullman train for the return journey.

Greenbank Hotel is a long established hotel dating back to the 18th century and enjoys superb views across one of the world s largest and deepest natural harbours. It has elegant public rooms and an attractive restaurant to complement the 61 bedrooms. Royal Duchy Hotel is situated in a prime position on Falmouth s seafront enjoying spectacular views of the bay. This 43 room hotel has elegant public areas as well as an indoor swimming pool with sauna and solarium. Carlyon Bay Hotel is located in a prime position on the seafront near St Austell. The Old England Hotel (a Forte Heritage Hotel with 82 rooms) is situated in the heart of Bowness on Windermere. A former country house, its attractive gardens run down to its own jetties on the lake. All our rooms have lake views. The Wordsworth Hotel is situated in two acres of landscaped grounds next to the church yard where William Wordsworth is buried in Grasmere. The 37 room hotel has a cocktail and lounge bar and conservatory as well as an indoor pool, sauna, solarium and mini gym. The Swan Hotel (a Forte Heritage Hotel with 36 rooms) is over 300 years old and just a short walk from the village center. It has cosy and comfortable public rooms and pretty gardens at the side of the hotel. The Red Lion Hotel (36 rooms) is a former coaching inn, located in the center of the village. Please note bedrooms are quite small. The hotel benefits from a lively pub to complement the main restaurant, as well as a sauna, solarium and gym. A magnificent Victorian hotel with its own private gardens, the Royal York Hotel is located adjacent to the station and close to the city walls and the Minster. It has 166 rooms, Tiles bar, the Rose Room restaurant as well as a pool and leisure facilities. Passengers are free to enjoy York at their leisure York is an attractive city with plenty to occupy visitors the cathedral, National Railway Museum, York Castle Museum, the Jorvik Center. It also has excellent shopping and lots of coffee shops and restaurants. Frequently asked questions Are all my meals and drinks included? While you are on board the British Pullman, your meals along with drinks such as champagne and wine are all included. Are disabled people able to travel on the Orient-Express? We are able to accommodate passengers with slight walking difficulties although we recommend that they, be accompanied by an able-bodied passenger. We regret that our carriages cannot be boarded in wheelchairs. Our staff is, however, available to assist any passengers to their seats and folding wheelchairs can be stored during the journey. Some excursions, for example Edinburgh Military Tattoo, are not suited for disabled travelers. Should you have any special requirements please contact your nearest Orient- Express office. Can I buy souvenirs or presents on board the train? Yes. The Collection Venice Simplon-Orient-Express has a range of exclusively designed gifts. This includes such items as silk scarves and ties, exclusive luggage, jewelery, leather belts and trinket boxes. Can I get a group discount? Yes. The British Pullman is ideal for celebrating a private occasion or entertaining clients on a corporate event. The minimum number required to qualify for a group discount is 12. The British Pullman can also be chartered for bigger occasions.

16 Can I smoke on board the British Pullman? Northern Belle operates a no smoking policy in its dining cars. Can I use my mobile phone on the train? Out of consideration for your fellow passengers, please turn off mobile phones while in the Northern Belle carriages. Can you cater for special meal requirements such as vegetarian? Yes. As long as we are notified at the time of booking, of any special dietary requirements, we will do our best to comply. We do however regret that we are unable to provide meals requiring strict religious observance in the preparation. Please advise any special requirements on the booking form. What do I need to wear on board the British Pullman? Smart casual wear (not jeans or sneakers) is the order of the day, such as a jacket and tie for men. Ford our dinner excursions, more formal wear is customary. For outdoor events such as golf, practical wear is recommended. Will I need to tip the staff? Gratuities are at the passengers' discretion.
