3 Welcome to the Grand Strand and surrounding areas. I want to thank Suck Bang Blow for the cover and the great looking artwork that's also a t-shirt you can purchase as a souvenir of your visit. Well, lots of topics to cover. So with that, here we go. Food my favorite. We got T-Bones Steakhouse with the best ribs in town, and a Mother's Day special. Moving up the road a little, next to the Piggly Wiggly Plaza there is a little restaurant called the Half Shell. Hard to find but it's well worth it! Heading up the road a little farther in Socastee, you can find Gators. It's a great local bar. In Myrtle Beach, I know, I know you have to wear your lids, but there are a couple of good places you should go see. One of them is Sharkey's on the Beach! Great place. Right on the ocean. Awesome view, plenty of parking, hot bartenders, and great food and happy hour specials. And they have Sharkey's at Broadway at the Beach, too. Just as much fun! While you got your lid on, stop by Karma Tattoo Shop. Flo and Company have been tattooing in this town for a long time. Clean, nice shop and great custom work. Stay out of tents, trailers and kitchens. You gotta wear the work not them. Chris at Cycle Solutions can meet all your needs for speed. Breakdowns bummer. Go to Dick Martin in Socastee. If your bike needs to get towed, call Tows 4 Toys. He'll get you there for a good price. If you should have an accident, or an unfortunate encounter with law enforcement, call Chandler Law Firm. He'll take care of all your needs. Hotels you need a place to stay? I got 3 of them! Super 8 up in the north part of Myrtle Beach for those who want to be near Barefoot Landing area. Microtel and Sleep Inn are both located right off of 501 and 301 with no lid required and trailer parking is provided. Great staff! Not just for Bike Week, they are Biker Friendly, but they are Family Friendly year round. Special thanks to Todd and Matt for making me feel at home. Coastal Victory Motorcycles is having their demo truck on site, and I hear Tim's band is playing. Check the schedule of events and make sure you visit. Lots of great entertainment at Broken Spoke, vendors, live entertainment, a great old school atmosphere, games, contests, watching your spouse embarrass themselves, and as your MC, Jay Allen making them embarrass themself. Suck Bang Blow WOW! Just too much to mention, from hotties on the bulls, burnouts, games, stunt show, great entertainment, and vacation give-a-ways. Lots of vendors, airbrushing, and more. Betcha you can't do it all!!!! There will be duel for best burnout between Broken Spoke and Suck Bang Blow. Beaver Bar has great entertainment, and Rebel Son. For those who have never seen them it's a show not to be missed. They even have rocking chairs and a brand new pavilion with live bands, big ole oak trees, etc., that bring out that great Southern Hospitality. Thanks to Todd Price and Jimmy Motley for helping me keep this production alive. You can actually plan on what you want to do during your stay in the Grand Strand. Isn t that cool! In closing - my usual speech. Don t be draggin down 17 revving your pipes, cause you ll get a ticket and free room and board. If you ve had too much to drink, park your bike and get a taxi home. Think before you drink. Don t leave your drinks unattended. It s not the bartender s job to babysit your drinks. Take care of your bartenders and servers. They work real hard to make your vacation unforgettable.
