This year s philanthropy is the Ronald McDonald House. Go to the Newcomers Website page for information on specific Newcomer opportunities. Last s year s philanthropy, YouthBASE, a non-profit that serves students and their families, is looking for volunteers for their Café de Madres program, Tuesdays 9:45-11 am, 813 Hampton Ave. This program is an outreach to Spanish-speaking mothers; volunteers are needed to play with a few preschool age children while the mothers meet.
