6 Day 3 Tuesday, December 2, 2014 From Big Cypress Big Cypress Camp (Cabin) Josie Billie Hwy, PMB 1002 Clewiston, Florida South through 50/50 dirt and paved roads through the lower Everglades: including Old Tamiami Trail, Loop Road, and County Route 9336 to the most southern tip of the Florida Peninsula, 48 miles from the nearest road in the Everglades. Where we will camp in a primitive area called Flamingo cove. 7 Day 4 Wednesday, December 3, 2014 From Flamingo Campground Flamingo Campground (Tent) 1 Flamingo Lodge Highway Homestead, FL North through 70/30 dirt and paved roads out of the Everglades using county roads to join with Card Sound Road to head south on route 1 to Key West. We will be camping directly on the water in Key West and partaking in the evening activities around Duval St. Sloppy Joes, here we come! 8 Day 5 Thursday, December 4, 2014 From Boyd s Key West Boyd's Key West Campground (Tent) 6401 Maloney Avenue Key West, FL (305) North through 70/30 dirt and paved roads back through the eastern aspect of the Seminole Reservation into sugarcane country where we will be staying in cabins nestled between three of the state s largest sugarcane producers. A side tour is planned to ride on the perimeter roads on a current and active sugarcane harvest activity.
